Very well-maintained GoldStar escalators with nice landing plates and motor. Runs pretty well for almost 32 years. Due to their age, the motors were quite epic when speeding up. Notice the warning stickers saying Jaya Kencana distributes GoldStar elevators and escalators, which means those stickers are dating back from when these escalators were installed in 1989!
These escalators have been refurbished with energy-saving systems in the 2000s. Since the system uses variable-frequency drive (VFD), these escalators speed up and slow down very smoothly (unlike the installations at Plasa Simpang Lima which are very harsh).
