- LSU Baseball and North Carolina Baseball played in the winners bracket in the Chapel Hill regional in the 2024 College Baseball Postseason. The winner would advance to the regional final on Sunday night, while the loser would face Wofford Sunday afternoon in an elimination game.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

That interference call was the most ridiculous call I’ve seen all year. To screw it up live is one thing but to go and review it and still call it is hilarious.
They couldn't get it right even with replay.
Umpires attending their ump classes as much as UNC athletes attend their own apperently. Or maybe they make shit up as they go, like UNC professors and grades

been saying that since the start, this is a young team who had a lot of shoes to fill in. I didn't think we were going to be horrible but it was going to be good enough where the team makes it to the postseason to give the freshman postseason experience. Will I be surprise if they make it to Omaha. no, I knew the team has talent but its the matter of if they can consistently do it. Compared to last year team. it was just consistent getting on base, scoring runs. something that this year team is struggling to do.

@@Snowyy.Prodzz I disagree. Offense has been stagnant in the last three games and today it costed you. Travinski hasn't broken out of his slump that's why Id want him in the 8 hole. There's also a case to be made that Jones goes in the 3 hole and Tanks in the 4 because Whites bat hasn't been what it usually is. Frey has actually gotten on on base his last three at bats. 2 in the tourney once against wofford and Neal is a homerun threat. But you are getting quality ABs from milazo so it's either way. But yea

@@Captain_Kirk_4 that could of made a difference for the entire game. If you watched LSU the last couple of weeks, they struggle to get something going offense wise until the 5th-9th inning. They were getting on base in the first two innings. had the interference not been called, larson would be at third with brown at first for Michael Braswell who has been one of our hottest hitters as of recently.

@@Isaacc3536 you obviously didn't read what I said and had no idea what I meant. If you WATCHED the game, LSU were HOT. This was the first time where LSU would actually get the offense going within the first couple of innings cause normally they dont start scoring until its late in the game.(which you should know about cause im assuming you are a vol fan).
and i quote "had the interference not been called, larson would be at third with brown at first for Michael Braswell who has been one of our hottest hitters as of recently." meaning the game would of been 1-0 LSU which also means UNC pitcher would of been shaken up a bit instead the call gave him confidence throughout the game knowing that the game was still 0-0 until honeycutt 3 run homer. but basically what im saying is that one call could of changed the entire outcome of the game. LSU could of scored at least 3 run that inning but who knows.
not like it matter though really matters though. they at least get to play today and tonight. LSU is already on the verge of beating Wofford by 20 runs and will most likely start hurd tonight against UNC.

Overall a very disappointing season. I would be absolutely shocked if we (LSU) can win 2 tomorrow and even force a winner-take-all. We should never go below .500 in conference and lose to the same team 4X. I know TN is #1 overall but we’re LSU. That’s unacceptable. We need to get back to hosting a regional again next year. If not, I would have to start to classify Jay Johnson as a definite step down from Mainieri.
dumbest thing I have probably heard. disappointing season? You go from having guys such as Crews, Skenes, Morgan, Jobert, Dugas to guys such as Braswell, Larson, Bingham, Milam, Brown, Holman, Jump etc. let me remind you that this team won 41 games this season. Many sources had us not even making it into the sec tourney. this team is young. super young. this 2024 can not replicate the 2023 team did for LSU. Some of yall fans are still blinded by what we were able to accomplish last year when we should be looking into the future. Saying Jay Johnson being a step down from Mainieri seems a little far fetched. Paul is one of the greatest coaches of all time by the time Jay is done coaching he will be looked as one of the greatest. how i see this team, its a young team who barely has any postseason experience and they were put into the spotlight that they had to come back and be better than the 2023. which alot of knew was not going to happen. being ranked #4 was generous. Honestly if im gonna be very honest, we should of been ranked #15-#10 in the preseason charts.
