Great work! I’ve struggled a lot this season but I’m trying now to learn as much as possible from mistakes and trying to be more calculated for next season. Still a lot to learn whilst having a bit of fun at the same time. Hoping for a better year next year 😀
The improvement I've personally made within a few years of playing FPL has been insane. More experience can only help!

i'm second in my mini league and I'm 33 points behind the first. I'm looking for a differential. i have KDB, Sake, Palmer, Gordon and Son as midfielders. Should i sell Saka ( or Son ) and buy Foden for the double GW then bring back Saka later ? ( my opponent has Foden, Saka, Foden, Haverts and Gordon as midfielders).... Thank you in advance !

Awesome week Fran! I’ve also hit a decent green on the back of a bunch of red arrows so feeling better. Within my team I’m contemplating a hit to move Maguire on to Gvardiol (requires Ederson>Vicario). But I could also just do Maguire>Romero. Is there any sense in the former strategy?
I do think the hit for Gvardiol could pay off - it also is a 'hedge'. His ownership is going to be stratospheric

Hi Fran, currently 1200 in the world hoping for fernandes to not play for a jackson autosub. Have narrowed my defending options down to branthwaite (double everton), reguilon and romero (double tottenham) which would you pick?

I captained Isak instead of Haaland last seconds of the deadline! He misses a PEN! I swear 2nd half of the season, most of my captains have been cursed. rank 39k, bruno and dalot to play. my hope for 10k is gone unless BB 37 works out fine.
Yeah , I captained Palmer thinking they both score around 2 goals .. But haaland's 4 over Palmer's 1 really hurt..

I think that's fine. Just monitor players like Bruno etc. Having 2 ft for GW38 can be powerful.

Hi Fran, amazing score and rank this season! Would you take a -8 in GW37? This for my team would include selling Solanke for Wilson or Jackson and getting rid of Bradley for a defender.
yeah if you are getting rid of SOL and Bradley then yes. Prefer Jackson over Wilson tbf

@@FPLFran pau torres, salah, solanke and neto for gvardiol, de bruyne, jackson and the keeper is still up for debate. seems worth it with double game weeks and bench boost but still unsure on that many hits

Chelsea defence is nice for their double, for example cucurella or gusto for the attacking threat aswell. but I don't expect a clean sheet. it can happen but the assist potential is the best. other option is maybe dalot. also doubles, but not really clean sheet fixtures, more for the attacking threat also but maybe a lucky cs against Newcastle...

Ederson, Areola
White, Gabriel, Gusto, Ait-Nouri, Reguilon
Son, Bruno, Foden, Palmer, Gordon
Haaland, Isak, Jackson
I have 1 ft and 3.4 itb
What transfer(s) do you recommend to get good use of this chip?
Monitor Bruno. I would probably sell him for Richy if he's not fit.
Assuming he's fine though, I'd prob transfer Gusto or Reguilon out for another defender. Sell Gusto if you are not confident in his mins. You could do the Gvardiol + another GK (Petro) for a hit move or just go for a Porro/Cucu/Burn in that order
what do you think of a minus 4 for nacho to gordon or should i do a minus four for kaminski to petrovic or hell take a minus 8 for both
I like the Kaminski hit tbh. I'd prob keep Garnacho if Bruno is back

shouldn't you look at teams have have something to play for e.g. relegation battle, top 4, top 7 etc as the differentials?
No, most peoples teams are filled with spurs/city/arsenal/utd/chelsea/newcastle who all have things to play for, so actually the differentials are players from teams that dont have much to play for, but those teams dont double

not worth a hit imo - you might want the additional ft on 38 anyways
But if bruno is out ill take the hit for foden.
I have Flekken Ait Nouri Garnacho and Doughty on my bench for BB… not feeling too confident about that. I have a free transfer so considering Gordon for Garnacho or Porro for Doughty. Thoughts?
Gordon is nice but I'd prefer a move to get Porro over Doughty, there is a more significant gulf between the two.

Leading my mini league with 81 points but my overall rank is hopelessly bad (so no ambitions whatsoever there). Is it worth taking a ~16 points hit to have a team I´m comfortable with for a BB in GW37?

Great score , I got 116 points 😅 it’s been a poor season for me but 650 to 143k in 3 weeks… I won’t get much higher now as most teams looking similar…Saka has saved non WC ,beating son Foden palmer Bruno KDB Gordon etc

With Van Hecke out for the season i need a doubler but at 4.1 and no balance left i may go fernandes out to Richarlison releasing funds for a solid doubler in defence.

Spurs defence just isn't worth it. Porro does not justify the 5.8 price tag atm like he did earlier in the season. Burnley are fightin for survival and City are fighting for the title. What does Sp*rs actually have to play for? There is a feeling that they rather lose to City than let Arsenal win the league. If u really want spurs then Romero or VDV and use the money in GW38 for a punt on TAA? Good luck! :D
Trent is so expensive I still can't afford him. It's still Spurs at home so I do like a defender since I can't really go Richy. You can apply the clean sheet logic to any of the doubling teams that aren't MCI/CHE imo and it would be 'fair'.
