I’m an Aussie and as a child the Rolf Harris Show was the highlife of my week. He was very talented and his fall from grace was absolutely shocking and disappointing. The worrying thing is you can’t tell who is a pedo because often they appear normal.

      Wrong.
Rolf was also known for molested women, as well as children.
After the truth came out about him, it was said that he'd a reputation from way back in Australia. Where he was know as the octopus. As it was very hard to escape his seemingly everywhere arms!.

He did live as a recluse, she's not saying he shouldn't have lived like that, and he may well have had some friends still willing to stay with him. I do think your comments are harsh towards this poor reporter. There was no proof of the incident, down to there being no proof even that the performance occurred. The claim that somehow he put his hand inside her knickers, in public, should deserve some proof. This conviction was later quashed (and as jaxtraw said this allegation was extremely dodgy in any case) , this legally removed the pedo element. The other three cases (all teenagers) did not correlate with evidence presented, and were weak cases on their own. Back then it was all taken as a joke, if we only knew.
