- Highway 20, the only road connection between the coastal community of Bella Coola and the rest of B.C., remains closed. As Sohrab Sandhu reports, the lack of accessibility is making residents anxious.

After decades of putting out the fires and laying out areas marked as vast provincial parks. The forests health degenerated as natural fires were no longer able to clear out the old tree stands and undergrowth. There was a pine/spruce beetle epidemic that spread as a result (Tweedsmiur). Government gave the order to uplift the annual allowable cuts. Clear cutting and planting monocultures on such a massive scale while suppressing forest fires led to more and larger fires. The government clung to buzz words like climate change (global warming) and sponsored bought academia to cherry pick the science as an alibi for decades of resource (forest) mismanagement. To further distance themselves from any accountability. The government is transferring over what's left to first nations. In return, the government will be able to transfer blame and relinquish any accountability. Meanwhile, this will be fed to the public as a climate emergency which can enact certain authoritarian laws that can render various rights obsolete. Furthermore, the patents and practices of weather modification and geoengineering has long been used to drive certain factors of conditioning the atmosphere with many countries using this technology. Man made adverse climate change is a thing. It's a rich man's thing
