Maybe J Reynolds should stick to his own voice, unfortunately he is not good at accents. Sorry but just don't like his narration,s..only my opinion of course. Sorry 🥺🥺
I think J Reynolds sounds great! Great voice for narration, just needs some fine tuning. Accents can be challenging and staying in character for a whole story even more so! Keep up the good work Mr. Reynolds your doing great brother!
Dont be sorry, stay honest just like you are! I'm the same way when it comes to a story or a narrator that I don't enjoy. We're not trying to be mean for no reason. People need to be able to accept constructive criticism without thinking the audience are "haters" or just being negative for the sake of attention.
I wasn’t a fan of the main narrators voice but the uniqueness of the story kept me listening
@@felipeojeda52 I agree with the fine tuning. This was the longest read I have done, and keeping consistent was quite difficult. It was a bit daunting, but I accepted the challenge. The only way I can get better is by putting in the time and effort, and to grow. Thank you for your support buddy! Each read will improve in succession from the last.

Ok I'm 10min in & I can't understand why people are criticising this narrator,each to there own I know,but I enjoyed his narration,his voice was quite calming..
As always I am enjoying the narration & story so far,thankyou,you guys are great,a theatre for the mind,I love it..Been listening to some of the older narrations lately..I love the one with the mom & daughter that go to see a doctor ,to do with the eating issue & mom gets stuck in the lift & ends up seeing the doctor without the daughter,I'm not going to give the plot away,I love tailypo,truckstop horror,omg there are so many more..
Thankyou for all the hard work & effort you put into doing this to bring us such great entertainment,I still don't understand why you haven't got more subscribers that baffles me..

Love the story! I do agree with some of the comments though. Justin is off to a good start but I think his voice acting could use some fine tuning. As a listener he doesnt seem very genuine or immersed in the character. You get the feeling that he is just reading you a story and cannot quite match the emotion or intensity of the situation/character. I hope noone takes offense! Just giving my experience as a listener.
I can agree with this. I listened to this after it was recorded (again) and I noticed I felt a bit stiff and lifeless in parts of the read. I believe some parts were done well, but as a whole it lacked continuity and immersion. My thoughts were occupied with unforeseen circumstances, and I lost some wind in my sails. I let these get in the way, I don't mean to make any excuses, and I hold myself completely accountable . Working with a stellar cast showed me the faults in my narration on this story, and I can hear the difference in presentation between this read and my last. I don't take any offense at all, the way you constructed your criticism was very useful. Thank you, Kenny!

A pleasant surprise, first a story featured on Mr Creeps, and now this!
Hopefully, I read your story to your liking. The internal dialogue of Jack's voice changed in tone and intensity as he was subjected to the horrors unfolding throughout the story. It ramps up and down in a few spots. I was trying to have his internal dialogue different from his speaking aloud voice to create tension, anxiety and panic.
Brother, anything by Corpse Child...sweet! And narrated by Justin Reynolds?! That hint of Cajun accent? Perfect! Thanks to all "y'all!"... 🙂

Cajun? Or forced Igor? I love Corpse Child's work, but the narrator made this whole thing sound like one big joke swapping between internal thinking Igor and external speaking Nicholas Cage yell. I don't typically offer up constructive criticism, but that was pure cringe.😬
@zombiepirateninja1438 A year later and I completely agree. It's a good story but the narration is awful and made me stop listening. I've seen other people say it was the accent that wasn't good - but I just think everything about the narration was wrong.
As the phrase Pops in my head do as I say not as I do.. sound familiar?! I know now that I'm a parent I've even said it and caught myself. Also all the comments from back in my day! Realizing it's just a giant Circle LOL

I love Justin's voice! Its just so different from everyone else's! But then I also love Otis', Jason's, Drew's, omg everyone's..sorry for the others names, I forgot them.

The stories are awesome as always and Corpse Child’s writing is impeccable, but the Justin Reynolds voice acting needs work. It sounded too forced and gravely.
I'm disappointed. The guy doing the narration is rather difficult to listen to because the words and letters he puts emphasis on is random and almost like he is trying to rap his part.
I couldn't even make it through, the narrator's voice changing and drawing out his words it's so bad...

Wow that was bad. You guys were on a hot streak for a while but then this? Normally I feel too bad to give a negative review to an amateur author but considering this one's an anti-vaxer redneck, he gets an exception. The writing was terrible; repetitious words and phrases, dull characters and non-sensical flow. The author had a tendency to become distracted like a fifth grader. The story was ridiculous. I make exceptions for ridiculous stories frequently but they have to have redeeming values. This had none. The ending was an undisguised ripoff of the Time Machine. I could go on but who would read it. Skip this dud.
