This exact FEAR is what kept me from starting my CZcams channel for 10 YEARS! I thought, “my life isn’t interesting enough, nobody wants to hear what I have to say😓.” But you know what, I took that leap of faith this year in April and even though I don’t get all the support I would like from family or friends, this community has been so welcoming and positive so far. I was afraid. I would rehearse things in my head over and over and I would hate doing something if I wasn't immediately good at it. My mom told me once I was the kind of child who was quiet for weeks and then would suddenly know a bunch of new sentence structures.

My mantra this year was “Don’t be afraid to be bad at something new” and it’s amazing what you discover about yourself when you literally just allow yourself to be human/vulnerable.
Amazing matra! I've found myself punishing myself whenever I can't just do something right away. Which is an absurt standart to hold yourself to anyways, so this ''Don't be afraid to be bad at something new'' in combination with ''Don't be afraid to be seen trying'' are gonna be my new mantras.
