This match really highlighted just how much better Islands and Plains (and Ben) are than Forests (and Carl) in general 😉 Some quick points from the side of dominance and victory: - As usual Carl is just wrong about the correct version of Adarkar Wastes to be jamming, Ice Age all the way. - Odyssey is the set Standstill was printed in, so I'm running my favorite Island and Plains from that set for the big time synergy bonus. - Appreciated Nick's coaching on this match up after he crushed me in the past. Particular advice from the Landstill side was to never counter the things that don't outright kill you (Survival/bombs), and trust your Factories to hold the ground against the 1/1 dorks to buy a ton of time.
