I've realized that people always use experiencing things like that as an excuse not to do them, but often times they never ask how that experience was for that person, and have an in depth talk about it because if they did they'd understand that most experiences people have where they're talking to inanimate objects for a while are often times the most life changing conversations they've ever had and it changes their life for the better.
Always be in a good mood before you take mushrooms. Your mood beforehand determines what kind of trip you will have.

@@kul13 here in Florida they grow wild in pastures all over the state. I have permission to pick from a local field because if the cows eat them by accident they sometimes freak out and run through the barbed wire. So it a win/ win for me and the rancher! Lol

@@kul13 so sorry, I wish I could too! From what a police officer told me once possession of shrooms isn't illegal but distribution or the sale is. I found this out after a deputy saw me coming out of the field with a armload of shrooms. He said because they aren't illegal all he can charge me for was trespassing. But when the rancher verified that he gave us permission to go in the field we were released with everything we picked

That "first warm hug" he's talking about is the first effect you feel. Shrooms give you a sensation similar to smoking a heavy indica, but it's enhanced. You feel a slight buzz and warmth before the rest of the effects.

I smoked mushrooms once.. After I already had a hit of Ecstacy and acid lol at a house party. Needless to say, instead of seeing swirling visuals in specific places or just in the background(in particular when you stop and focus lol for those that don't know) instead of that normal stuff? Everything swirled. Literally ever inch of my vision had its own swirling effect going on. Like looking at a thousand tvs stacked on top of eachother, and they're all playing something visually psychedelic lmao it only lasted 10 seconds after each hit before the visuals calmed down, but for those few seconds? Woooooo shit lol its funny thinkin about it now, but please don't try this lmao

Shrooms is a psychedelic with effects ranging from lights being slightly brighter then usual to full on audio and visual hallucinations.
I have done shrooms many times and I have two good stories to share to maybe give you guys a little more incite but before that its important to know that the trip you have can vary depending on a number of things but the biggest factors are you're experience with psychedelics, you're environment, you're mood, and the people around you. Side note it's smart to have people you trust around you (trip sitter/sitters) to ensure you're safety.
(heads up this might be a long read)
First the (good trip) About 8 months ago one of my best friends called me to see if I had time to trip (and yes you need time trips can last up to 18 hours from my experience) I had time so I might as well go hang out. About a hour later he pulls up to my place and we made up a plan to go to our "spot" at the states river with some chairs and a bluetooth speaker and thats it. There were 5 of us my best friend, his gf, his brother, my gf, and me we drive to the river and set up all our stuff just as the sun was setting then all of us but my friends brother took shrooms he was gonna be the trip sitter and designated driver for when we left. After things start setting in the trees warped a little every now and then and the way the water moved was mesmerizing. We started listing to all the rock bands we used to listen to in high school while smoking weed in the same spot then we all start cracking jokes having a great time and out of all that the one thing that I will never forget about that night was the way the moon reflected off the river and I know I'm not the only one everyone there was captivated by it at one point or another.
Second (bad trip (short version for the sake of anyone that reads this)) 5 years ago I got invited to a end of the year high school party for the seniors. Probably 20-30 people showed up with alcohol, weed, shrooms, and edibles I smoked a joint and had 2 shrooms. After I started tripping I was just trying to chill and have a good time but there were to many things happening between my least favorite type of music being blasted and people moving around all over the place I was getting sensory overload and had to leave. As I was leaving I threw up on the sidewalk and got picked up by my friends brother from the last story.
I never had red Lobster but I got an appetizer sampler once that had marinated and deep fried button mushrooms, Maaaan I tell you dipped in Ranch those were the best!

I remember realizing that my mushrooms kicked in, when Bo Jack Horseman turned into a zebra. I tried to play videogames and my brain couldn't deal with a 3D image on a 2D surface. Really surreal feeling. Would still recommend. Fun Experience
My friend and I went for a weekend to Amsterdam, we planned to visit every coffee shop (which was little over a hundred at that time). On one night, we decided to visit a smart shop (where you buy different accessories to smoke weed and you can buy mushrooms there too). Each of us grabbed a different kind of mushroom so we could have a better experience. As we were about to pay for the shrooms, the guy at the counter asked us in English, are you, tourists? We were like, yeah. First visit? yes. He did the shushing face with the finger over his mouth and reached down under the counter to bring up his mushrooms. Will you buy these instead for double the price?
Now the mushrooms we were about to buy weren't whole mushrooms, it was just the heads without the stem, but the heads were big and had a brown color. The ones he presented us were very small, were all white and had black gills. They looked already better. So we said yes. It was the strongest trip I ever had. And I tried every drug except Heroin, crack, and meth. Now sober for over ten years, I still think back to that one trip I had. I'll never forget it.
The most important part is, that we laughed through the hours we were tripping the whole time. And not just giggling. No, lying on our beds holding our stomachs laughing. Our hotel room walls had a stone mosaic pattern made out of really small stones, almost like sand. Those stones turned into small ants crawling all over the place. And it didn't even bother me, I was just touching the wall, then recoil a bit and go "whoa" every now and then and then go back to laughing my ass off. Everything was blurry, I didn't really know where I was at that point and all I could hear was my friend laughing and the people outside our hotel room, talking, laughing and clinking glasses/bottles of wine/beer even though our window was closed. I had a pretty great time.

Did 'shrooms in high school in late 70's, a bunch of were all stoned and I remember glowing one night. Literally had an aura around me like around an eclipse. Lol. Was sooo happy. My boyfriend had a compact car and we had 7 people in it and I was on the emergency break while he would go thru parking lots at 50 mph, slam on the breaks and turn the wheel hard. The passenger door came open once and I grabbed the roof of the car with my right hand (small car) and the guy in the seat slammed it on my hand! Never felt a thing. I'd forgotten this. We dropped everybody off eventually and hit one more church parking lot on way home when he hit a speed bump sideways. I hung out the window to look and told him the wheel was flopping around, couldn't hardly stop laughing to talk. This happenned in a small town outside Knoxville TN. Maryville, near the old Everett High School. Lmao!!!!

My first time shroomin, I got a batch from a friend who told me to only eat two the first hour. So my brother and I eat a couple while sitting on the couch watching the deadliest catch and nothing happens. So we each eat three more... a total of an hour passes and we don’t feel a thing and five shrooms each we started thinking it was a bad batch so we each eat the rest which is 10 SHROOMS within 90 minutes!!! Still sitting mind you.... well I get up to fix me another drink, pissed off thinking we got ripped off but as soon as I took the first step I was Alice in wonderland!! Room started morphing and my brother was asking me what I was doing. I told him to stand up and walk. He did and we both started tripping harder than EVER!!! My friend came by to see how we were doing and she was greeted by us standing outside stairing at the stars laughing at the unicorns 😂

I had the best trip on shrooms, it was nothing but a good happy feeling meanwhile everything was so colorful, I loved it. It was a subtle rainy day while listening to led zepplin the rover and in my time dying while playing my guitar, good times although my ex was weird af, he wrapped himself in a blanket lookin like beavis acting funny as hell

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER = my roommate got us shrooms and took me to Valleyfaire, an amusement park in MN. OMG we had the BEST time!!! I think we had more fun in line than on the rides. People started following us around because we were such fun to watch =) Only time it got weird was when we went to have a beer in the old time saloon and the waiters started singing and dancing. That got a little freaky. We were both like "Slam the beer, let's get outta here."

Many years ago (about a hundred) when I was young. I went to loads of festivals and concerts, and would dabble in certain hallucinogenic substances, along with other things including mushrooms. One festival I went to for one reason and it was because my favourite band were headlining.
The festival started on the Friday and they were headlining on the Sunday night. Unfortunately, by the time Sunday came I was totally off my nut. I lay down in the afternoon sun to get a rest before they came on. And woke up to hear the lead singer of my favourite group, a guy I loved saying "Thank you, you've all been great, goodnight!" I had missed them. And sadly the lead singer Phil Lynott died not long after. I never got to see him. So R I P Phil.
And L, check out his band Thin Lizzy, they were brilliant, and Phil was so gorgeous.
So the moral of my story is, don't do drugs, or do them AFTER you have seen who you wanted to see.

Shrooms are great at a concert as long as you don't have people messing with your mind while you're trippin. In the past, I've seen the grateful dead, pink floyd, ozzfest (Iron Maiden & Black Sabbath), and a few other bands trippin.

Shrooms are like being drunk and triple dip white blodder acid. No in Alabama you go out mainly spring with dew out between 4 until sunrise and you find them growing up through cow shit. Me and my friends had a quart size baggy,we boiled them and mixed with koolaid in 32oz cups. We had smoke 2 hog leg joints and 2 hits of acid. We downed the koolaid and 30 mins later I was watching a chewing gum wrapper flatten out shrivel up then bloomed into a damn flower. I told my buddy's and we were all around that damn wrapper watching it bloom!!!🤯🤪 . Shit,I wasn't right in the head for 2 days. It was fun but afterwards it sucked.🤪😁

Tripping to me is like when something significant happens in life, like achieving your biggest goal or the worst situation like family dieing. I just pause and have that moment when your aware of that exact moment and you examine your life and realize what actually important and what's a waste of your time. It's the best and worst thing I've ever done to myself. Pandora box gets opened and boy ow boy ignorance is bliss

All I can say is one day when I recover from this hard core laugh fest I may share my planed weekend in the summer of 85. Tripping balls was the plan, unfortunately an inconsiderate fellow employee called out sick at my job in a convent store. 3rd shift in a convent store on a Friday night between two sun cost Fl beaches while peaking on multiple hits of blotter. Fucking insane ! Ill never forget the experience.

I saw Trooper last summer on 2.5 grams of shrooms and I had a fucking awesome time. You can also drink like the dickens and not feel anything till the shrooms wear off and you wake up drunk the next day. 🤣

It's amazing to think....everyone in their life trips on DMT because it's what makes us dream a lucid dream. But mushrooms are the eye opener to the fact that there's more...DMT brings you to there. Check it out...i know Joe has talked about DMT.
