Feeling the difference between 8 count and 6 count moves can be very tricky -- especially if you're new to it. Here are some tips that have helped me out with distinguishing the 6 and 8 count circles, and hopefully they'll help you, too!

Your videos are amazing! I love the close-up of the feet, the comparisons and the slow-downs. A lot of 'tutorial' videos I've watched show the couple filmed with a wide-lense so you can't see their feet properly. Great work!

Thanks for another great video: they just get better and better. Right now I’m not working on 6-step and 8-step stuff, but I am working on cheating, and am getting better at it!

Excellent explanation of the difference. In addition to Savoy style lindy, I also do DC hand dance. The 6 count circle is commonly done in hand dancing. What i love more are the plants that are so prominent in your home. It reminds me of growing up with my grandma who loved indoor plants and taught me how to take care of them. I love plants and had a collection of orchids in my home. You should see my garden in the summer. Where are you located?

Orchids!? Amazing. I'd love to see your garden. I'm in San Antonio. You barely have to try here. The plants love this environment so much.
Hand dancing is amazing. On my list of things to learn.
