You definitely got a better deal than me. I paid 150 euro for a used one, 23 inches, manufactured by an Italian guy called MF A board covered in some strange leatherette, very smelly. It even had a checker broken in half. I wish I bought some other new board, something like yours.
I bought a board from this guy that came with a dozen clearly damaged metal checkers: chips to the metal, discolouration. After trying to resolve this amicably, the guy wouldn't replace them despite them being obviously damaged, and then resorted to abuse. I returned the board and lost hundreds in shipping. I would never, ever buy a board from this maker. I've also heard the same from other customers of his.
