The North Wales Coast Express (06/07/24)

What started off as a good day, ended with confusion and delay. After arriving at Llandudno Junction, Class 47 47812 left 44871 at Llandudno Jn however due to a points failure at Llandudno, 47812 departed Llandudno 59mins late.

They got 44871 back just in time, as it's the only air brake fitted loco they have apart from Tangmere that's not in Scotland!

Thank You very much.. The tour was operated by West Coast Railways. I am unsure who’s stock was used as WCR only have 1 Mk2 set which are maroon and not BR Blue & Grey

Steam is planned to make a return! A Class 60 is planned to be re-built to run on hydrogen-fuelled steam!
