Somehow this videographer has developed the art of giving viewers a good look at the squaddies as well as the band and does it seamlessly. Not easy when you are a lone shooter, your subjects are in continuous motion, and some of them, like the Gurka Signals, are part of a rifles brigade that marches at speed. Some serious videography technique there, and the result is reliably good. Great to hear the bugles. Thanks Lenny!
Thank you so much. You are so kind. I try do the best 🤗
Fantastic video!! Lovely to see you back Lenny!!
The marches played were,
1) 0:06-Bab El Mandeb
2) 2:14-Quick Silver
3) 3:38-Silver Bugles
4) 6:10-Le Régiment de Sambre et Meuse
(Return to Barracks)
5) 7:11-Bravura
6) 11:12-Sons of the Brave
7) 13:06-Colchester Castle
8) 14:25-The Rising of the Lark
Thank you very much @delvinrodriquez3341 🤗
@@lennywindsor3820 You're most welcome Lenny !!
As a youth I often played Bab El Mandeb (OrdHume) , Silver Bugles (Neville) and Sambre Et Meuse. One of the buglers appear to be a woman. Not unusual fora musician in the band but buglers are infantry soldiers. I guess it goes to show the Army is truly open now.
@@glynboyington3834 Hello Sir! This must have brought back some Excellent memories! If I may ask did you play the Bugle? Or as they say, one doesn't play the Bugle one fights it 😆. Women are little by little getting into more operational roles, as the last of the restrictions preventing women from taking on more infantry roles were lifted in 2020. There's already quite a few females in the Welsh Guards and Grenadiers Guards.
@@delvinrodriguez3341 Yes I was (still am) a bugler. Pretty much just funerals and memorials these days
Thanks so much for the return to Windsor. Well done, as usual.
Our pleasure 🤗
Thank you, Lenny, for this great video and music. It's nice to see you back. Regards from London, Ontario, CANADA.
Many thanks. Greetings from Windsor 🤗🇬🇧🤗
I love when you show the guards and band equally. As a lot don’t. Thank you great video xx
It’s my pleasure and stay tuned 🤗
Hi Lenny, yours is definitely some of the Best coverage, well done, missed you.
Thank you so much 🤗
What great soldiers, they do their country proud…….thank you
You are most welcome 🙏
Thanks Lenny. I noticed our favourite Police escort did not attempt the fast pace on the outbound but he was back on form for the return ! Some good work on the bugles.
You are most welcome dear 🙏
Excellent video! It's remarkable how the Guard has to keep the pace even in its "slower" version. So much that the Color Sergeant has to intervene a couple of times to keep his men going. Not that they are tired or anything, but they are not used to this a bit faster tempo.
I remember marching with the Rifles band while in Calgary...our RSM had to intervene to make them slow down a bit for our sake. " We are not the bloody Light Infantry".
Thank you 🙏
Lenny. you're the best. Great work. Best yet.
@@mikepowell7385 Glad you enjoyed. Thank you Mike 🤗
Perfect thank you
You are most welcome 🙏
beautiful thanks
My pleasure 🤗
Hi, Lenny! Good to see you 😊
Hi dear Charlotte, thank you. Yes I am coming back 🤗🤗
Namaste to all my Gurkha friends and veterans. Still fighting for pension parity. 🙏
Well done lads 🇳🇵
So enjoyable ❤❤ that pink creeper growing on the side of that building is gorgeous 😍 😊😊❤❤
It really is 😊
👍👍
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for also showing the riflemen. Some videos concentrate only on the band.
You are most welcome 🤗
That would have felt like a sprint for those young guardsmen who have never marched with the riles band.
Why they are Gurkas that's their matching pace as well. The pace for the guards was slower returning
I have really missed a decent military band video, welcome back.
As an aside, are the Gurkhas being allowed to keep the title “Queens” or will they become “Kings”?
Thank you 🤗
They played Ohio Script Song at 6.30 😊 not surprisingly
