I'm ashamed that Jamele Hill would say something like that, but controversy "sells". As a black man, I will say that anybody that says that Caitlin don't deserve the celebration and acknowledgment that she's receiving...ask them how many ALL-TIME collegiate scorers can they talk to right now. She is a loving legend that is STILL ACTIVE. It's not like she's a woman that is averging 5pts 3 assist and 1 rebound, and is coming off the bench. This woman can ball. She has single-handedly carried Iowa to back to back college championships games.
What I'm most disappointed about is that some of these attacks are coming from other women. Here's a woman who has INCREASED viewership and game attendance, and other women are being critical? It's best that women in sports, particularly the WNBA, understand that if you want EQUAL PAY, you have to FILL those stadiums...and Caitlin presence is causing games to be moved to larger venues The average WNBA game WITHOUT Caitlin is about 7K...WITH Caitlin 16K.
So all you WNBA players, if you want to get more than the $75K per year, it's best ya'll let Caitlin PUSH the league to the next level like Michael Jordan did.
I don't care if she's white, black, yellow, green, invisible, paisley, etc she's ballin.
Stop hating on this "sistah" and ride her coat tails to higher revenues and increased salaries.

There’s no other reason except natural talent and ability. Lovers of basketball will simply appreciate her skill, and if you don’t, then you really have to question whether you’re a true lover of basketball, and want the best for the WNBA!
