I hated the character Rick Stetler in Csi:Miami because of the fact that the entire series he was a”dirty”cop always pinning the blame onto a random member of the team. But the actor who played him”David Lee Smith”was brilliant with his acting. It made me wonder what else he acted in through his career before that series. Bryce Garrett.
I wasn't surprised that Stetler was dirty. He resented the hell out of the fact that Horatio was promoted and not him. H was promoted cause he had experience from NY.
Mark Noonan Yeah and only believed that he had it out for the team all cause H got promoted and what's worse he set Wolfe up just so stetler could cover up his own dirty work he no good cop that deserved what got all points to that stetler betrayed his own team.
Sure did, and he brought it up when he went after Eric. But Horatio and Stetler always had a rivalry over Yelina, over being Lieutenant; Stetler made it really personal with Horatio.
I am so glad that Rick Stetler gets what he deserves after so many years of making other people suffer when he is the one guilty all because he was bitter and angry about his sad pathetic life
I knew from day one I didn't like stetler and he wanted to fire ryan and tear the team apart and framing Wolfe first stealing diamonds from lab and killed Horatio ex girlfriend because his petition ran out talk about hard core dirty cop.
Always knew this SOB was dirty as hell! He always tried to come after Horatios CSIs for something, but his luck finally ran out in this episode LMAO! Hated the fact that he framed poor Ryan Wolfe for this. And in the process he killed Rebecca Nevins, the prosecutor and Horatios ex-girlfriend.
I was so shocked at this when it premiered. I grew up with this show and when this happened I felt as if I lost a family member, more specifically the black sheep of the family.
When he tells H to "Cut the self-righteous bull." , it tells you all you need to know about him as a person. The fact that he doesn't get that it *ISN'T* an act with Horatio. He *genuinely* loves upholding the law, policing, keeping people safe, and that in reality , he'd do it for *free.* Because that's who he *IS.*
Well like Eric said for years Rick was trying to pin something on them and Surprise he is the dirtier one and he got one of them killed and tried to pin it on wolf
Well, Stetler vs Horatio always. But one thing: Yelina. She loved Horatio even when she dated Stetler and Horatio loved her in turn. And remember that Ray Jr. absolutely didn't like him. So I expected more action in his "adieu" scene, but I was still happy when he got out of the way.
yes he is he deserves a a Emmy for playing this role so well he also guest starred in one episode csi las Vegas and he ended up playing the role of a bad guy as always.
What I love most about this scene is that Stetler is right and they all know it. Him calling out Horatio was spot on. Season 9-10 Horatio did a lot of bad things because the job was eating away at him. If they weren’t cops, they’d be agreeing with him
What bad things ? Horatio always doing what's needed to be done to catch the criminals there's different Rick for years was trying to pin something on horatio and Eric and callie every single time yet he fails
@@yosifalhasil6044 doesn’t mean he isn’t wrong in doing it. Horatio became a dark character as the show progressed. Hence why I said Stetler isn’t wrong for calling out Horatio

I didn't like Rebecca after something stupid she said to Yelena Seasons back but to be killed like that... and by someone who was supposed to uphold the law! :( And he even framed Rolfe. The man deserved to rot in prison
Tara was an addict. Ryan knew about it, he told her to kick the habit and get clean.... but she didn't. So Stetler did the noble thing by arresting her.
finally this SOB got what he deserved..he was freaking dating yelina while investigating her brother in law though we all knew he could never find anything to sink horatio's career!!
I hated what Rick did to Ryan Wolfe planting those diamonds in his house . What did Ryan do to deserve that . Thank god his gone for good he deserves to riot in prison all I care
@@LavaSharkTiff9514 Eric ,Ryan and callegh are the three main people that Rick blames on this show and after the bosses job too . Rick is worse then Dan Cooper
This was it for me and CSI. Yes, Rick Stetler was a total ass, but few people cared more about that lab than Rick. Besides, him and Horatio always butting heads was one of the best parts of the early years. I think they should have written him out at the beginning of S8 in Hostile Takeover when he had been transferred out; after that he had outlived his usefulness. Although they really needed him back in S9 when Horatio played bad cop a few times. But by then CSI Miami had become the Eric and Calleigh show.
I love this scene
It made my day to see Stetler get arrested
I agree same here
Stetler was such a bitch throughout the show and made these guys jobs harder...

Bryce Garrett.
I'm absolutely convinced with all those crimes he committed. Only one possible verdict. Life without parole.
He was a crooked self-centered cop putting blames on the CSI team smh. Glad Wolfe put him away for good🙌🏾
David did an amazing job & i'm so proud the CSI's FINALLY got him.

Wolfe's face at 2:08 was so priceless that pretty much he wanted to strangle Stetler for good lol

Have to say pretty satisfying scene. Hated Rick from the start.
I’m glad that Ryan Wolfe had the pleasure of cuffing Rick Stetler.
