Nicely explained, I got a t4 March this year, and with the darker nights drawing in I’ve notice that I can’t really see whilst driving in dusk or dark…. Had to check if the headlights were actually working 😂 so I’m defo going to be looking at getting one of these installed 😅
Hi there, slightly off the subject of headlights, but I love those wheels you have, are they the 17” VW Beetle Heritage alloys? Also can I just ask.. I’m assuming they’re load rated okay for a T4 camper? Many thanks
hi mt t4 1999 has h7 bulbs headlight 2 pin.ive just removed hid bulbs kit been on van before I got it.justkampers said hid illegal.it passed mot ok 3 years trot
@@T4Family Does this headlight loom work on a left hand drive shortnose Canadian spec van? Do the headlights work nicely? Are you using Ecode headlamp assemblies? The prices on Amazon are great. Do these products deliver the expected improvement in lighting, and has the new wiring loom deteriorated since installation?

This is misunderstood. There’s a resistor used to reduce brightness mainly on full beam and it’s required for VW to sell in some countries.

Just upgraded the loom following the video but now the sidelights doesn’t work !
I have had the same problem. Headlight now comes on at sideligjt position
