  • When starting your motorcycle in the cold morning, especially if it has fuel injection, there are a few steps you can take to ensure smooth operation:
Preparation: Before starting the motorcycle, make sure all the necessary fluids are at the correct levels. This includes engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid.
Choke or Enrichener: Many motorcycles equipped with fuel injection systems don't have a traditional choke like carbureted models. However, some modern fuel-injected bikes have an "enrichener" or "cold start" system. Engage this mechanism according to your motorcycle's manual to enrich the air-fuel mixture for easier starting in cold conditions.
Ignition: Turn the ignition key to the "on" position. Wait a few moments for the fuel pump to pressurize the system.
Starting Procedure: Follow your motorcycle's starting procedure. This typically involves pulling in the clutch (if applicable) and pressing the starter button. Be patient, especially in colder temperatures, as the engine may take a few extra moments to start.
Throttle Control: Avoid revving the engine excessively during startup, as this can flood the engine with fuel, making it harder to start.
Warm-Up: After the engine starts, let it idle for a few moments to allow the oil to circulate and the engine to warm up slightly before riding off. This is important for the longevity of your engine, especially in colder temperatures.
Riding: When you start riding, be gentle with the throttle until the engine reaches operating temperature. Cold engines can be more prone to damage if subjected to heavy loads or high RPMs before they warm up.
Always refer to your motorcycle's owner's manual for specific cold-start procedures and recommendations tailored to your model.

You can’t use the Killswitch to turn your motorcycle off. You have to always use your key to turn your adventure motorcycle off. You must always make sure your Killswitch is in the run position. All adventure motorcycles have to start automatically.
Also all adventure motorcycles have to be startedwith assistance in order to stay healthy and strong throughout their lifetime.

Using the kill switch to turn off your motorcycle's engine is completely safe and will not damage the electrical system.... I agree for complete switch off key should be used, as this is a regular motorcycle my steps are applicable for pure adventure motorcycle it will differ as they generally user starters for that.
