I imagine we'll see something a bit like AFC Wimbledon, a club created from the ruins of the original. Hopefully everyone can pull together in the Bury fanbase and get back to where they should be
There are a lot of fan owned clubs that are running within their means and are doing well their respective leagues. Bury fans can come together and make Bury AFC or whatever they want. It may not be in the football league but it’s a club they could be proud with and avoid this from happening again.

I’m a Brighton fan we went through a struggle and as a club, a city we got through it. Bury weren’t as strong and successful this should never have happened the smallest donation from each premier league club could’ve changed this and stopped it. Yesterday i mentioned my first Premier League away game was Bolton away in the 10/11 season but that's not the first game I've been to. In August 2009, my first ever Albion game whatsoever was Bury away, stewards were so nice and I've looked at Bury results for a long time and to see what happened early this morning when the news was broke and i didn't sleep till 3am it was so horrible, even today I've felt so physically sick that i genuinely couldn't eat my dinner. Horrible

My first ever football game was Bristol City vs Bury in 2002. I’m a Bristol City fan and it was a very exciting game for me, I’ll miss Bury for giving me these memories forever, the game was good and both teams played quite exciting football. City won 2-0 but I remember telling my father that day that I wanted to like half-support Bury for the rest of my life. So I am a Columbus Crew fan in the USA. We just went through a year and a half long saga where we had an owner that purposefully ran the team into the ground in hopes that he could relocate them 1000 miles away. Luckily for us someone else who was local bought and saved the team. I can't imagine what Bolton and Bury fans are going through, but we had a taste. What has happened here is not only wrong, but it is a crime.

So I am a Columbus Crew fan in the USA. We just went through a year and a half long saga where we had an owner that purposefully ran the team into the ground in hopes that he could relocate them 1000 miles away. Luckily for us someone else who was local bought and saved the team. I can't imagine what Bolton and Bury fans are going through, but we had a taste. What has happened here is not only wrong, but it is a crime.

The mental health stuff is quite apt Theo. The keeping busy and routine of going to the football and saturday is something that not only engages the mind, but also prevents loneliness and boring weekends where people get into trouble with either drugs, alcohol or their thoughts themselves.

I’m from Lancaster myself and I completely agree, there’s almost nothing to do. I feel so bad for bury, because I’m a Liverpool fan and I go to watch Preston games often as it’s cheap and good entertainment. If Liverpool, and if Preston were expelled I’d be mortified, because there’s nothing to do at all, and it’s just my life

My beloved Arsenal was founded in 1886. It is a year younger than Bury FC. So much history. So much tradition. Just to be swiped away like it all never existed. I cannot find the words to describe how sad I am for those Bury fans...

Bury fan here and I have heard that the 7 million deal to sell the club was ready by 4.00 an 1 hour before deadline and Steve dale approved it and the efl ignored it.
I remember, my first match was watching Bury FC. Cant believe this happened to such an important part of EFL history.

Hi I am a Notts county fan, We went through a difficult time as well, only 6 weeks ago, I have the upmost Appreciation of what you are saying in this video, And I would personally like to see more support for smaller clubs Like Bolton, Notts county and Bury. I also wish that TV money was given more to help lower league clubs, and not just ploughed into the premiership. As Rochdale fan were not well known to have any history and surrounded by great clubs Like Bury, Oldham, Bolton, Wigan we enjoyed great rivals with teams above regardless if they took us seriously enough but Bury and Rochdale match was always a highlight and despite the rivalry I really wish Bury the very best of the future and get back were you belong R.I.P Bury
as Torquay united fan we were almost put into financial trouble ourselves after we were relegated to the national league south. however we were lucky to find an owner, even though they are an owner of a betting company I am still grateful to have my club. I really feel for Bury at this hard time.
