- WHAT A FUN MAP TO ANALYZE, I really liked this one!! There are so many great details and you can tell the team put a lot of care into it. I wasn't expect Thank U, Next to have lore attached, and now I can't wait for the rest of the Just Dance Lover Coaster maps to come out.

Since both songs are break-up songs, my theory is that each other's maps are the fall out of their break up. Grace came out thankful and moved on while Ari is still feeling bitter about it or is upset that Grace came out happy and healthy
Yeah, but the pictures of Grace and Ari at the end depict Ari as she's shown in the end of the Good 4 U map, so it would be unlikely that they broke up with each other and these maps were a result of that.

Yeah I agree more with the theory that they are dating after breaking up with someone else as both break up songs complement each other so hence they go to different sides of the classroom and if they both felt the same way they could then move on and start a new life together which is so cute and sweet
I feel like your third theory could definitely be the right one, given that the JDTeam told Ariana Katana that the two "are close friends" now so.... maybe after the dated and after they broke up, they managed to become friends again?! WE NEED TO KNOW MOOOOORE. Also yes my lady, you look fabulous

What if the coaches from Happy, Sorry and Blame are named "Pete", "Ricky" and "Sean" respectively? It would keep up with the theme of the Good 4 U coach being named "Ari".
Though that does leave out Malcolm, which is a bit hard considering that Marc Miller passed away in 2018.
I think the JD team and Ubisoft legal team might have had an interesting conversation about this. 😅 It would be hard to make it happen unless they choose another names that sound similar

I don't think thank you next is a prequel to good 4 u because in the picture between Grace and Ari, Ari is in her final version, while in good 4 u she starts the song in her nerdy version and then changes to her final version.

Having lore is one of the best things the jd team started doing
The only reason why I feel like they didn’t break up is because Ari didn’t wear the outfit that was in the photos until the end of good for you, if it was a prequel then I feel like she would be wearing the first outfit. I kinda feel like they were both friends before then and Ari went through a break up first. I also feel like both songs could take place on different days cause if the time was the same then they both would’ve been in the hallway, plus the halls were clean in the beginning of good 4 u. Maybe after breaking up with her ex she fell in love with grace and after grace broke up with her ex’s she also fell in love with Ari? Lol I don’t really know this is just my theory, but I was honestly wondering how Avery was gonna add the night swan joke lol it still lives on!

Leading after your last theory:
Since the photo in the locker was Good 4 U C4, possibly after breaking up, Ari started to lose herself, but as Good 4 U goes, she regains confidence, and finds herself.
Speaking of different timelines, 2:13 maybe Baby One More Time and This is How We do are different timelines of cheerleading in Just Dance High School. That would explain the very different uniforms despite being of the same school and both being cheerleaders.
It could be a reverse of your theory of Ari's taking place in the future.
Grace could of heard Ari going off about her ex and goes to comfort her, since Grace has had break ups before. We don't know how the break ups went so she might of had some bad ones. They become friends than soon get a crush on each other or atleast Grace gets a crush on Ari and after her song, Grace goes to ask Ari out.

I dont think that thank you next is the prequel because in the photos attached to her locker “ari” is wearing her final costume change if it was a prequel to good 4 u wouldnt have she been in her student costume? Also i love this ship/relationship sm ITS SO CUTE and im so happy JD is adding LGBTQ+ in the series

I think the picture of the, "baby one more time" couches could mean that Grace idolizes them and also joined the sport with the jersey

With so much lore coming from this iteration of Just Dance, I'm surprised MatPat hasn't done a Game Theory on it.
These Just Dance Lore just gets interesting everytime. I love it.
One theory that might make more sense is that Thank U, Next and Good 4 U occur at the same time. Both songs feature Grace and Ari getting over their exes. Grace moves on happily while Ari is bitter and angry, but then they meet each other and things get better for the both of them. As for whether it’s romantic or platonic, I’d say only time will tell. If the Lore Guardian reveals more then we’ll have more info to deal with.

So I think what you said about the timeline thing with Grace is correct, but I think that you got the part about Ari wrong. and heres why
So i think that Good 4 u is placed first in the timeline and Ari is letting out her emotions about a breakup with one of her ex’s. and then she met Grace and fell in love with her.
I also think that Ari is saying thanks to her ex’s and is about to get with Ari or confess her love to Ari

completely agree with the lore building point and representation in this game. I would always watch gameplay dances on youtube back then if i wasn't playing it myself. I always wanted a little more to keep my attention with the games so its nice to watch these and regain my interests

My theory for the timeline for them (this is after JD24), is Good 4 U, Vampire, the Thank U Next. (I put good 4 U first because Ari has pink hair at the end of Good 4 U and has pink hair in Vampire (That is my only reason, hair color))
