William Santos Not really. These were serbian extremists. Austro-Hungary was obviously that their last heir was killed, and sent an ultimatum. Serbia declined, which caused the war. I blame Princip.

Hitler was already Reichskanzler (Chancellor) during Hindenburg. Hindenburg was the one who appointed him Chancellor. He took power once Hindenburg died. Later on, the National Socialist (Common Slur: Nazi) State of Germany was proclaimed.

Its weird that Germany seemed like they were winning after they defeated the Russian Empire.

It was more the fact that after the usa joined the war, the germans were too outnumbered.
They had to move some troops to Russia to stabilize their victory then the Americans showed up in France and they couldn't move their troops fast enough
Germany got no allies left so they surrender. Even with the USA Against it
