    I'm confused why you cooked the shrimp with the head on, but them immediately discard it after cooking. Could you not just remove the head when you peeled and de-veined? Not sure what it added.

    • @SmokyRibsBBQ
      @SmokyRibsBBQ Před 2 lety +1

      Leaving the head while cooking adds more flavor to the shrimp as well as it helps to keep it moist, but I personally think it makes a better presentation as well. Only takes a fraction of a second to remove it

    Hey Rus, do you eat the head “meat” on the shrimp?

    • @SnSGrills
      @SnSGrills  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks a great question... I'll wait for Rus to jump in!

      I don't eat the head, but sometimes I remove the the underside of the head, batter and fry. They are called "Spiders", I also suck the juice out of the head when I boil them, but normally I leave the head on the shrimp to impart more flavor into the shrimp as they cook.
