I was extremely happy when VAVA allowed me to translate this video because this was actually one of the clips that originally got me into Hololive! I want to again say thank you to VAVA for allowing me to do this! Also I want to say this is likely the only time I will use a clipper's video. If there are any mistakes, please let me know! @@alexanderholzer7392 Fox girls and wolf girls are like SUPER popular in the anime community in Denmark and Germany, always has been. As to whether or not they're our best buds, Denmark and Germany are pretty good friends both culturally and as nations. We do have a lot in common, and we do share a lot of traditions, so it's only natural that we'd be pretty chill with one another. Hell, even in WW2 we were treated extraordinarily well by the Nazis compared to any other nation, mainly due to the fact that in the eyes of the German people we're practically German anyway. To further elaborate there are four countries in the world which Denmark has had a lasting and VERY close partnership with over the course of history, that'd be Germany, Sweden, Norway and Japan. Not even the 2nd world war could fuck up our love of our German and Japanese buds - and that's really saying something when something as shitty as that couldn't break our positive relationship with one power that literally invaded us and forced us into an ideology foreign to us for years!

Whoa coming back to this after Korone recently played this level and I realized that this was one of the first Hololive clips I saw when I initially fell in the hole months ago. I didn’t even know any of them then, and now I completely recognize everyone and even guess how they might react. This is a classic clip

I like how Okayu always adds in the iris-in noise at the end of levels even though Mario Maker doesn't use it for SMW levels. It's the little things that keep you going.

I love how simple the banzai bill trap is, yet so effective. You can just stand still and it'll fly by you, but you're likely to panic seeing it come closer, making you hit it if you're not fast enough. It's probably not intentional by Fubuki, but it's a damn good one.

@@Gashdal It's even weirder when you realize that New SMB games use the dual-jump system of SMW (maybe even Mario 3D Land if I'm not mistaken, I haven't played it in years so I can't remember).
It also feels weird they never ran in any Mario game, or maybe they played the true 3D ones too much and running is tied to the analog stick more than the face buttons?

But yeah, 64, sunshine, galaxy 1 and 2, odyssey....plenty of mario games to play and you'd not find out the run button thing.

Honestly my favorite part of this level is how she timed the CheepCheeps to push back the first Spiketop, making them go right under the fire flower block at the worst possible time. So subtly devilish.

It's interesting going back to this and seeing the older models again. With the Mario Movie released in April and the SMM2 tournament coming out in May 2023, watching Soybon and SMM2 brings a lot of joy and find it weird how bad IRyS is at platforming so far.
