Now Jays gotta guest pose at the Mr olympia
HA
Sounds to me like Manager Matt has tile foot like Paul Lauzon from Bro Chat!
Im not sure what Paul has, but ill be fine in a week or so, just from taping it up its made a huge difference - Matt
@@CutlerCast Glad you’re doing better Matt
I loved this episode! Watched during my fasted cardio this morning. Thanks Jay and Matt.
Glad you enjoyed it!
GUYS. I WAS 300 pounds and chocking. Had blood oxygen saturation levels of 75%. On the edge of having a heart attack. Got a CPAP. Within 2 weeks oxygen back to 98%. Zero events during the nite. Started loosing fat and had to loose my muscle but i feel better than ever. CPAP saved my life. ❤Australia
Could listen to such Q & A type (or just casual talk about body building etc) for hours and hours.
Keep up the great work guys 👍🏻
We will!
This has become my favorite podcast in the last week or two. Helps me get through the day at work, while enjoying it. Helps me stay engaged with everything while I'm not at the gym. Love this lifestyle, and love listening to one of those guys that's responsible for paving the way for us.
Keep up the great work guys. This is awesome stuff.
WWJD - bracelet for Olympia Merch! i like both Jay Cutler and Big J in the sky.
Another good episode gents. I've been using a nasal CPAP for 6+ years now and I use it every night, it's changed my life. Similar to what Matt said, I was falling asleep at work at 8am after sleeping a solid 7-8 hours and being in bed before 10pm, I genuinely thought I was ill. I went to my GP, did a sleep test and I was waking up 27 times an hour! Got the CPAP and now I'm sleeping right through the night and no snoring, completely silent.
I'd encourage everyone to get one, they take a little while to get used to, but once that's passed you'll feel like you have so much more energy and your recovery will be vastly improved.
Thanks for what you've done in this space Jay! I'm 26 almost 27 and you've helped me get on track and I've been losing weight and gaining muscle.
Much love.
So many things to comment on. So I'll narrow it down. Specifically, that of Serge Nubret, in preparation for the 1975 Mr Olympia, as documented in the book, Pumping Iron. To paraphrase, 8 hours of training in 3 sessions, 9 pounds of meat, 400 grams of protein supplement, and 2 gallons of water... daily. Just sayin' wow‼️Great content, gents. Keep crushing it, and bringing it to us. Mad respect. 💯👍💪
Thanks for another great show. Some of the best shows are just Jay and Matt talking.
TRACKING SLEEP PATTERNS AND BREATHING IS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED ASPECTS OF HEALTH. ❤AUSTRALIA
I really like it when bodybuilders lose body mass as they age. They keep a certain shape and the ego goes away. They are comfortable with themselves and have nothing left to prove. I like Arnold's shape in ''Twins'' or ''Kindergarten Cop'' for example. I like the shape of Robby Robinson, the Black Prince, when we see him training with Mike O'Hearn. He's not what he used to be but he's still proud of who he is now and it shows in his demeanor. I'm 50 myself and it's so nice to no longer have an ego in the gym which I never really had anyway. You stay fit and you're at ease with yourself. I have the impression that some of the younger people envy us a little. Maintaining an ego is exhausting! If Jay loses another ten pounds but still stays fit, he will still be a champion in the eyes of others. He has the title of Mr. Olympia written in the lines of his face forever. You can see it in the way other athletes look at him in the gym.
Jay has one of the best working brain from bodybuilding
I like this format of QandA! Great episode.
Thanks
Never have Milos urinal sarcev again,
Punk never payed Matt his money

@@MoahGentle that punk owns Matt 5k , watch last weeks episode .

@@CutlerCast what i think is: i want to see Robbie Robinson on a episode. I think The Mutant is gonna win this year, and i hope you gonna talk a episode about the famous books. Like Brother iron, Sister steel.

Jay cutler super monster

@@CutlerCast dont have that scumbag Milos urinal sarcev anymore .
Excellent episode!
great episode, I enjoyed it!
Glad to hear it!
👌💯💯Love the Q&A, “What Would Jay Do” Matt I love how you explain how dangerous it is putting on more muscle compared to being overweight in pounds of fat, I hope people hear it and realize the difference 🙏💯💯
I just got treated for sleep apnea this past June. I would wake up with severe pounding headaches, heart racing as if I was going to die. My AHI was over 100 times per hour. I gained a lot of weight, had no energy for the gym and life in general and I was constantly feeling tired throughout the day. I had one foot in the grave. Now I have my CPAP and my life has changed, my body is finally getting the rest it needs, I’m back in the gym, energized and moving forward with life. If anyone out there feels like they may have sleep apnea don’t wait, talk to your doctor cause it can be deadly.
grew up with magazines - this is so much better!!
Great episode
Thank you Gentlemen!
Haha! Funny stuff toward the end about chewable aminos and protein. 😂
I’ve been waiting for this a long time. I watch #askdave and others like it and we would love to hear your opinion on fitness questions! These type of shows are great for listening to when meal prepping or cardio
You were awesome in Rødovre 😍 freaking love your podcasts as well
So crazy that you all talked about the sleep situation. I am now waiting on my home sleep test as I speak. I have it bad. I hope it works.
It works!
Thanks very much!!
Lol... Cell Tech I would take it and wait about 30mnts before I'd head to the gym to make sure I wouldn't shit my pants 😆...
I got a question to Jay for next #WWJD - If you could what you would change as far your supplement line? From the beginning till now.. Cheers to Matt - hope to see you guys soon ;-)
Thanks for the question

I have also thought of starting some kind of service for sleep apnea. I have been a nurse 24 years and specializing in respiratory. Left nursing and now a full time personal trainer as well as a woman’s physique competitor. So glad Matt you can get this going. Happy to volunteer my knowledge
its being developed as we speak - Matt
Your voice have so much weight because you are not "just" successful in bodybuilding but in other areas as well. You have a positive view on life. Many others have so many regrest, were fuled by negative elements. With you, it is always real and positive.
Very interesting chat thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Ive been on a CPAP for 10 years now, full face mask. Last 7 years using it consistently (it is very hard to get used to). Like Matt said, now when i put it on and i feel the airflow hit me it soothes me and i fall right asleep most nites 😴.
Soinds like a great endevor Matt! Go make it happen 💪.
Marine Mike 🇺🇸 💪
Damn, I just turned 65 and met Jay not long after completing in a National Gramdmasters Contest. Im still pushing iron 5 times a week and about same off season weight as when I competed. I cant bench as much as i used to, but still try. Im now a bit worried about carrying a loy of muscle. I do think the fact that I was a light weight, it may not be as harmful. At leaat that is what i hope.
I'm happy your training 3 to 4 days ,I m the same age as you and that's really all I need to stimulate the muscle and the mind.
Great video your awesome
CPAP is life changing
Milos punk , pay Matt his money
Good laughs about the past supplements. Yes the pills from Beverly International were huge. I also had a protein powder in 1977 that tasted and stunk so bad.
massive pills
Shit, converse is the only thing I wear 😂
I just had sleep study done that make it so easy no a days they send you a device that is a thumb ring and you download an app to your phone, right before you go to sleep you hit record on the app and then stop recording when you wake up and it automatically uploads the report to your dr.
Loved it! Great show!!!
Neck circumference is a huge proponent in determining sleep apnea
Apnea sucks man. I know how you feel Matt. I've been taking magnesium glycinate, L theanine and Zinc one hour before bed. It seems to help me fall asleep and feel better. Definitely gets my brain into REM where you dream. Haven't had dreams in years.
Dumbell or Barbell, best bicep exercise to targe short and long head??sir
@jaycutler @cutlercast #WWJD When you called Regan before the show in Spain, what did you tell him and also, what other bodybuilders have you called before or during a show to provide a "pep talk?"
derek lunsford podcast or samson pls
Matt, what is your sleeping machine called? I know someone with sleep apnea but they don't know which one to buy.
I was given the ResMed AirSense 11. It’s amazing and auto sets so you don’t have to worry about getting the settings wrong. I highly recommend it. Tricky part can be which mask to use either full face mask or just nasal. Depending if they’re a mouth breather etc.
Milos Urinal Sarcev , punk never payed, what a disgrace
10,000 steps is such a weird way to count. Me and the Mrs walk the same distance together and when I have done 10K steps she's on 7K. We all walk different and are built different. Rather walk a certain distance or time I think.
When I was 265 or more… when I am 265 I start to get sleep apnea when I was 290 it was really bad I was snoring really loud lol 😂
Hany for episode 100 please!!!!
Being a male, high blood pressure, wearing xl shirts are all triggers, basically the thicker ur neck is the more pressure there is when you lay flat which causes pauses in ur respiration while asleep
Shirt size has zero to do with it.... Neck Size and Blood pressure are for sure. - Matt
@CutlerCast what i meant by that is that a person that wears a bigger size shirt usually has a thicker neck or bigger person , is part of the questionnaire for OSA risk in the emergency room , that of course doesn't apply for people that just like wearing big shirt for confort or style
They ask this because most people dont know what their neck circumference is , which would be more accurate
When they brought up test levels.... I'm at 283 ng/dL as a 56 yr old and training off amd on for 40 yrs. My doctor says I'm normal. Any suggestions?
I have horrible sleep apnea as well… I won’t even take a FUCKEN nap now without my machine
Same 💯
This format and the Milos episodes are the best.
Any chance Jay can talk about the sneakers he wore back in the day and if he go on Complex?
@JayCutlerTv How do you make money in Bodybuilding if you are unable to compete?
Matt bring milos on full time, i love the podcast
Bro Matt if your coughing up blood thats not sleep apnea, that something totally diff
Man I made gains off Muscletech cell tech in 2011, that was a well made fruit punch but man did I have the runs a lot in high school!
If you could only have 10 specific excercises (hack squats, flat bench etc.) for the rest of your life what would they be?
Growing up in the 90’s/2000’s I’ve seen a lot of changes in the supplement industry. What would you say is the biggest difference in the products on the shelf from then and until now?

Don't doubt that Hadi Chopan is the champion of Mr. Olympia this year. Of course, Hadi will undoubtedly become the record holder of the Mr. Olympia championship medal in the entire history of the world. It is very different
See an orthopedic who specializes in the feet. Get an mri of your foot bro. It might be a neuroma.
you do need more test
You can monitor your sleep with smartwatch, if no 1.5 hour rem sleeping than I feels not well slept
I would love to see Kevin Levrone on the podcast. Matt please make it happen!
Im not sure if this has been brought up. But it would be interesting if you had Mike O'hearn on the show
Mike avoids us.... - Matt
He called it a sleep test but it's more commonly known as a sleep study.
Sleep test, sleep study, same thing - Matt
Some people..all love😊
Did you study for your sleep test? 😅
Androstien... got it from Walmart. Potent stuff.
Very potent. Pretty much as toxic/strong as anabolic oral steroids like anadrol/dbol etc.
For the algea
Sometimes When I was at or near my heaviest bodyweight I would do like Shawn Ray take a 15 minute power nap in the afternoon sometimes the nap was … an hour or a half an hour or two to three hours and I would take my supplements my gh and eat and train I would take a nitro tech scoop with cell tech to the gym cause the nap the nutrition supps rest sleep at night it worked so well was synergistically all working so well together one week I jumped from doing 275 for reps on bench… then a week later I was repping 365 and 405 for the first time ever I really felt like I wasn’t stopping growing and getting stronger
What would Jay do if he started his own gym? What would it look like? What for equipement would he put inside?
We have discussed this many times, good question for the future... - Matt
I only won 4 titles haha only 1 is unbelievable 4 Is legends which Jay is
Best question, does Jay and Matt think O'hearn is a fake natty??
Matt does milos owe you 5k or 105k? Lol it was 2 bets rt?

Used to wear converse for years. But since NIKE bought them. They are the lowest quality pieces of shit now.
NB is far from old man shoe. If you want a solid supporting. Minimalistic flat sole.
Get New Balance 272 model.
Did anyone do the crazy exercise that Arnold wrote i a book. It was 50 sets of 25 reps squats with a medium light weight. He said after that he couldn't walk normal for 10 days. I did it and couldn't walk normal for 10 days 😅
Arnold was a beast in the gym, still is - Matt
If they made the Masters Olympia 50+ and the reward money was like 300 grand.. would you compete again Jay?
Jay wouldn't compete for a million guaranteed... Does that answer your question? - Matt
@@CutlerCast They should make the prize money 500 Grand to a million.. and have it on Pay Per View ! And yes.. it does... thank you ! I love watching your stuff !
No disrespect, but I don’t care to hear about the new reason why Matt can’t train or is out of shape tbh
Overweight - apnea.
For the most part yes... My dad had sleep apnea, he was 180lbs at 6 foot.. My sister has it at 115lbs at 5'8... Mine is neurological, and I know the extra weight doesn't help - Matt
He would become a freemason and worship the God of this world like all good Babylonians do
