@Tony.. my thoughts exactly. This was NOT a good review, imo, and very biased. She started out talking against it right from the start. Also, WHO turns on an air fryer and ''tests'' it without food in it? Who would just start pushing buttons without looking at the paperwork?

Oh also, although the outside was big...the basket wasn't big enough for me. I'm still loving Paula Dean's af though. It cooks fast, doesn't take up a lot of room, huge basket, and looks good on the counter space. There were only minor findings with that one.

My son gave us his Ninja because his flat is tiny and the Ninja took up too much room. It's wonderful! I make the Ritz chicken stock, which is fabulous. After roasting chicken wings and various veg for 1 hour in roasting pans in the oven then, putting everything in a large saucepan, it will then take 3 hours to simmer. It takes 45 minutes in the Ninha pressure cooker attachment! It grills and roasts like a dream. Our son missed it so much that he got himself a smaller Ninja, which has a rotisserie in it. The chicken is amazing. Ninja every time for me!

I appreciate what you were trying to do, but I think it might be better to review the cheapest and most expensive air fryers with the highest ratings. I agree that sometimes you get what you pay for, but not everyone has a budget that will allow them to spend $200 on an air fryer. Just because an air fryers is expensive or has the name of a famous chef on it doesn't mean it will be a good value. And just because an air fryer is not expensive doesn't mean it will be garbage. The one in this video definitely is, but I don't think all cheap ones are. Just my opinion of course. Love watching your videos and I'm looking forward to seeing the showdown between the Cosori and the Paula Deen.

I noticed a few other strange things with the "Fryernetic" air fryer. For example, the pictures on Amazon show a somewhat different control panel than your unit had. The "Appointment" button on yours is a "Preset" button in the pictures, but neither makes much sense, since the unit also has a "Function" button. Maybe it's supposed to be a Turn Reminder button. I also have no idea why an air fryer needs a "Nut" or "Nuts" preset. I suppose I could toast nuts in my air fryer, but that's not something I would do very often. And, as a few others have pointed out, this unit probably doesn't have a UL listing because of its 2400W power usage claim. If that claim is accurate, it most likely means that the air fryer was intended for countries with 220-240V household electrical systems, and the very least that should have been changed for US-bound models would have been to change the plug so it would only fit in 20-amp sockets. All in all, this was a very entertaining review, although it would have been even more so if you could have worked your kids into it somehow. 😄

To get a box out of a box - which you had trouble with - you, don't need a second person, you simply:
    1. Turn the box upside down.
    2. Cut open the BOTTOM.
    3. Fold the flaps out.
    4. Flip the whole thing over and place it on the floor, with the flaps out.
    5. Grab two of the flaps - on opposite sides - and lift.
    6. The outside box slides off the inside box, which is left sitting upright on the floor.

"UL Listed" is not even a guarantee that it is in compliance with their guidelines...it would have to be "UL Certified" to mean that UL has actually tested the product for themselves. It is really just a promise that they are following the rules, and have paid the licensing fee to be able to stamp it on their product...what could possibly go wrong with that? P.S. I loved my Cosori and was disappointed it was recalled. Mine was the 5.8 quart with the stainless steel front on the basket. Not really happy with the replacement they sent me. It's a plain, black one and it doesn't have a shake reminder and the basket is a different size/shape than the one from my first one so I can't even use the old one as a spare. I'll keep using this one...but I have a feeling I may want to replace it in a year or two.

This just proves that the saying of "Buy Cheap, Buy Twice" also applies to airfryers.
I often see these unknown brand names on offer and think chances are they are junk
I certainly wouldn't like to risk eating any food cooked in one that is if it worked!
At least you have warned us about this one, i guess they will be in the Black Friday
sales to clear the unsold stock.

I've ordered the Dreo. It will give a new definition to the term most expensive. I ordered early for $199. As the program kicks into gear, it will become more expensive. As I have watched the demonstrations, it seems to be much more than just an air fryer, using a probe that samples both the food item temperature and the internal oven temperature. It also has a water source to keep some things moist while others might be crisp. Seems to have a lot of intelligence with a wide choice of selections and internal recipes; a much advanced technology.

I did have a Gormia for my 1st air fryer. But it met an untimely death. It fell off my counter just after I shook it and walked away to turn to see it in mid air falling .It was in pieces. My late husband's first words out of his mouth as he yells from another room, "You are not gluing it back together. I have a thing abut glue thing back if I can.Since I watch you all the time. I had to get the Cosori lll Pro because of you and I love it ! This has been one of the funniest video about an off brand air fryer. My husband's favorite saying and we still comment on it when buying something that my kids and I think we could get a cheaper product. "You get what you pay for". Your late husband was a wise man. I'm all about fixing things when I can, but the heating elements of an air fryer get hot enough to cause severe burns and start fires. The risk of trying to fix one is just not worth the modest savings, especially if you're talking about Gourmia air fryers, which are usually under $100.

Write the expiration date ON THE BOTTLE so it stands out. Also, buy one with a gauge. The bottle may say 10-12 years. Not much good if you find out that you had a tiny pressure leak at year 5 and needed it at year 6. I tossed one this year about 4 years after it's shelf life. You yucks, I tried it out. It worked fine. It didn't have a gauge. Still would have bought a replacement. But I probably would have kept the expired one as long as the gauge was in the green zone.

but that's also overly generalized. Cheap doesn'T equal bad. 2 of my family members have also cheap air fryers , here the are also around 40-60 euros and theirs work fine, not well known brand, super cheap , not much rating and still doing the job for years. But I'm more sceptical . I want my first airfryer to christmas this year to be a cosori, becasue I'm pyrophobic and it seems to be the best choice since many on other ones wrote that they getting too hot outside and such things.

Just a question - Have you, in all your multitude of ordering air fryers from Amazon, ever received one that was used and dirty? I watch your videos and carefully chose a model you tested. When it arrived, it was grossly dirty and apparently used before - and never cleaned. Needless to say it went right back. So … have you ever received a dirty product? Many thanks!
