Their top songs have hundreds of millions of plays on Spotify. I’d say they’re rated accurately.
Using in a comment without any sense the word "underrated" must be actually a crime, yes.
What is criminal is the lame ass crowd. Criminally under appreciative to the Raw Passion & Pure Talent they were just privileged to witness live.
The thing is, the people who goes to those concerts, not always know the bands. And the fans, only use spotify or youtube to listen their songs. 😂
let's be honest, this band deserves more audience :(
They aren't underrated. Blues rock just isn't really a mainstream genre, so it's fair to say they are rated correctly given the genre of music they play.

Best band I’ve heard in years!!! I love everything they’ve done. They’re one of the few bands that sound just as good live as in the recording studio. I’m from the south USA. This band from Iceland can ROCK BLUES !!!!!
A voice like his comes what, maybe once every 2 decades by a rate of one of 8 Billion humans living on this planet. Its always fascinating me how much better his life voice sounds in comparison to records.

I first heard way down we go on the voice sung by a young contestant a couple of years ago. I recorded the show and kept on playing it over and over for.about a year. Then I found more songs. This band is mesmerizing!!! What a soulful, bluesy voice!
What he does with his voice is phenomenal including his whistling. 77 years young woman watching one of his outdoor concerts. His songs haunt me in a good way! What an amazing talent!!! Can't get enough. It's almost 10pm and I'm sitting on my patio in the dark with a glass of wine and vibing to this awesome music.
This crowd is weak! This is my favorite band I can't belive no one there is singing and going nuts! Front row center twice this year.
Probably the reason you don't hear the crowd so well is the lack of crowd mics, no reason to have mics pointed towards the crowd when the music is the way it is
I was there and I expected more energy as well but there 2 things to take into consideration: 1: it was scalding warm and everyone was on "survival mode" and 2: it's a cultural thing.. I'm Brazilian and we're used to sing our lungs out with the bank and it's always an amazing energy, but in the Netherlands apparently they don't really sing along as they are there to listen to the bank and not other people (that's what I heard that day when I queries why everyone was so silent/quiet). I agree 10000% with you though.. that was disappointing to see such an amazing bank to not receive anything back from the crowd
It was scorching hot that day and in all honesty there was not much energy coming from the band either. I love kaleo’s music, but the only interaction came from the girls which makes it a more American act in my opinion. The girls are awesome, but for me take away from the rest of the band. Also, I think Kaleo is not as popular and well known in the Netherlands as they should be.

As people have said here, Imma say it as well. You have no idea how fucking hot it was. I was there myself and it was not fun to be standing there sweatin my balls off. On the Dutch crowd thing, I like to think of it this way. We don't interact during the songs because most of us really want to hear the music as good as we can get. That's on the artist to really show their craft. We like to give our shouts and praise after the song has ended. Now I remembered that this crowd was indeed not as enthousiastic as many hoped it would be but I can assure you that that was mostly due to the weather.

I just saw them front row live at a small intimate venue in Auckland and they were fucking amazing! One of the best modern rock n roll bands right now.

I'm somewhat familiar with "No Good". This is the first time I have seen/listened to a full set of theirs, fantastic! I'm an older demographic and these guys and girls can rock! I'm definitely onboard.

I was a "TWO Song on Pandora" instant fan! I then, while on a flight to Las Vegas, purchased two tickets to a show the did in South Beach, FL. They put on a FANTASTIC show! I cannot wait to see them again. But being world travelers as they are this wait might be a while. THEY ARE GREAT

It's so cool when a band not just plays studio versions adapted for concerts, but does some extra effort to make it sound better! Absolutely love endings of Backbone and Hot Blood with incredible backing vocals performance, that creates a really unique feeling!

I’m no music expert, but it sounded like Rubin’s guitar was tuned to the wrong key at the start of Hot Blood, but then during the second verse, he corrected it and then it sounded clean for the chorus again. Still killed it of course, Hot Blood is such a killer song

Finally saw their live on June 2022 in Berlin and decided to start to learn the guitar right after that. They were fire, and after a show, I found Thorleifu( who plays the harmonica etc) asked a photo and talked with him, he was super super nice.
