WALKING Tour of Downtown Tamale, Ghana + Rain + a Little Market Walk - Life Under the Overpass

The overpass in Tamale, Ghana is a relatively new addition to the city. It wasn't here when we visited in 2019. And it's a very smart addition.
Of course, people here have made it their own. You'll see.
It's simple. Build an overpass for people who don't need to go to the busy downtown area so they can bypass the traffic. Not only do they get to avoid the traffic, but they're also not adding to it.
Smart infrastructure like this will serve Tamale well.

Me too. If I were truly staying here long term I'd need a huge closet because I would become a clothes hound buying fabrics every time I saw one I loved.
