Yes, the grown "adult" needs to quit complaining. My sister is a vegetarian. If she is going out with friends, she will look up the menu ahead of time and work out what she can eat even if it's just a salad so she can spend time with her friends. And I believe in taking the leftovers home and eating them the next day for lunch. Esp. if it was a costly meal.
I'm the same way if the leftovers where good I'll take them home for tomorrow to eat
I'd rather eat alone than with a certain someone I know. He only eats chicken burgers and chicken hotdogs. While he eats other chicken dishes, he avoids the white meat. In fact, he dives into the KFC Bucket first, ensuring he gets the dark meat before his wife and 6 children.😒
Same. I'm a vegetarian and I always ask for the name of the restaurant so I know what to order.
I mean vegans and vegetarians are just extremely picky eaters so this video applies to them the same way unless they are not vocal about it.
Bart's description and impersonation of the Hainan Chicken head got me 😂😂😂
I think I’m just a fatass, my leftovers don’t even make it to the end of the day 💀
Right Ive never had to ask for a box for leftovers because there wasnt any lol
real
Facts😂😂😂😂
Yeah I’ll end up eating it within an hour or two of getting home every time.
My dad who is Korean has a white girlfriend. She despises any type of "ethnic" food. Our family traditions have always been about going to Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants. Also for holidays we would have all the good Korean stuff as well as lots of Mexican food. Since his girlfriend came around, its ham, turkey, nothing ethnic because he doesn't want to offend her. We started doing our own thing for holidays.
She definitely sounds like a minority white girl because most of them love new experiences and most types of food
Good for him. I like all sorts of food but it would be the exact same thing if his girlfriend was mexican but reversed. Has to over season everything to destroy any flavor of the actual meat. Kinda same with some provinces in China, Korea has more balanced food. Some are spicy, generally with low grade cuts, more expensive cuts are less spicy. Also "ethnic food" does not mean anything, Italian, Swedish, Mexican, Korean are all ethnic foods. Any food from a specific region or people is ethnic, has nothing to do with color of the people there.
If you can’t eat tomato 🍅 because of the texture how you do expect me to love you?
Even if someone has an issue with certain textures of tomatoes, there are work arounds. I personally prefer cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes over full size tomatoes. And roasting tomatoes or making them into soup changes the taste and texture.
@@bethnichols2875 you solved the riddle, without compromise it will not work.
@@bethnichols2875 I hated tomatoes until I had cherry tomatoes
@@user-no5fj1uq7i Same. I like to put cherry tomatoes in pasta or couscous salads with other veggies now.
If you can’t form a simple sentence, How do you expect me to trust you?
I ain't rich so I am portion picky. Din Tai Fung is delicious but how much I spend vs how satisfied I am, wack. Shake shack for how much I spend, wack
Din tai Feng is so overrated, mama lu's dumpling house is 10x better
so i thought i was picky but mildly i mean, but to everyone else around me they think im really picky. but when i met my bf almost 3 years ago i never thought a person could be more pickier than me being at the age that we’re at 😭😭😭 his food palate is like my 6 year old lil bro’s 😭 over the few years we’ve been together i’ve slowly taught him to expand his food palate and thank god now he’s more bearable to be brought out to eat anywhere HAHAHXGSHDGNS
16:47 “LOOK🤚I think I am 🤔”
Lmao Subin cracks me up 🤣
Omg me too he my favorite ❤
You got Instagram???
I had to have a bone marrow transplant 8 years ago and it screwed up my palate. I loved spicy food but now it's like 10 fold, but i still try through all the pain.
Congrats on the brand deal, guys. 👍👍🚀💰 Lol bringing back the Hasegawa whiskey bit.
5:44 Nick is too real
Geo should be a guest on Hot Ones, since she LOVES spice xD
Yooo the salt and lemon is bomb and u can also but tajin instead of salt on it too
1:04 Pretty much what Joe and Bart said, it's not the picky eating that's a problem, it's when picky eaters make their diet an inconvenience for others
I don't like picky eaters because we all used to be picky when we were younger, but then I expanded my pallet and learned to appreciate different textures and flavors so it makes me feel like everyone can and should be able to experience the same appreciation for food.
my dad was a if you dont like it dont eat it person so we didnt have to stay at the table but if you didnt like it you didnt eat
I'm 37 and I'm kinda that picky eater lol but I'm not the type that's gonna make it a problem for anyone else. I'll go anywhere other people wanna go to eat and I can damn sure find something on that menu I'll eat lol. I also don't like tomatoes either but I can tolerate some small chunks in a chili or something(I love some chili!). They mentioned liver and onions...when I was younger I absolutely wouldn't touch that shit but now I've grown to love it and eat it fairly regularly. I don't enjoy preparing it tho and it's about enough to turn you against it lol Cause it looks really nasty. But I wash it well, chop into smaller pieces. Chop onions and sit to the side. I'll put oil in a pan, roll the liver in flour and cook on medium heat, season with salt, pepper, and a little cayenne pepper(you don't wanna add too much tho), and a little bit of garlic salt. When it's about half cooked I'll then add my onions and cook til the meat is finished. Also fry some potatoes to go with it. And I think it's really good shit. I'm also not the type to eat salads or other "rabbit food." I can tolerate cucumbers and lettuce but I don't go out of my way to eat it. You won't catch me eating broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, brussel sprouts etc. And things like celery, cabbage and carrots I'll eat in a soup only but not otherwise. There is several things that's not on my personal menu lol.
Grow tf up
I know people who only eat chicken and pasta like you are sooooooooooo missing out!!!
I was waiting for them to talk about Balut LOL
Adults who still buy flavor milk to drink because they want flavored milk vs having to drink milk for calcium
Subin was on point - food don't hit the same like back home in the 808...not matter how hard we try to look for the "local spots" in the mainland.
Imma picky eater but i won't order something i won't eat or go where all the food is something ik I don't like. You can look up practically any menu before going to a new restaurant. So idk why ppl don't just uninvite themselves if they know they're going to a place they won't like.
Grow tf up
I heard we put salt on lemons/ lemon water because it hydrates, especially in warm climates (Lebanese heritage)
Our mom spoiled us growing up and knowing Filipino cuisine theres alot of pork and chicken dishes and I grew up not liking veggies and just started eating them during my mid 30's for health reasons.
People who care what others eat, need to grow up and mind their own business.
I agree, it tastes like mango garlic. I dont mind it!
Chicken feet dim sum style is da bomb
Yes food in Hawaii is better than any food in other states.
Mixing the rice and spaghetti 😅
Tomatos are disgusting
i used to be super picky til i started smokin weed, opened up so many new worlds for me 🙏🏽
so I don't eat spaghetti with rice per se, just the red sauce as 𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘮
Tiff prepping for a tequila shot 😂
Raw tomato and liver and other rogan meats are probably the only other things I can't eat.
Vietnamese bittermelon soup is bomb!
Picky eaters to me are I think what Nick thinks about cyclists
First off, I’m not a picky eater, I’m on the spectrum and things like smell, taste, texture and consistency matter a whole lot….
There are therapists who can help you with your sensory issues to help you safely explore more foods.
Eating tomato by itself is weird. But in a burger, salsa, or with any other food, its great.
Best liver I’ve ever had was elk liver and it was cooked nice and slow. So soft and smooth, doesn’t have the weird liver texture
Rice and spaghetti is the shit. I’m Dominican though. It’s probably cuz the Spanish colonization 😂
Although I eat them, I still feel grossed out by fleshy veggies unless they're overcooked. Leafy greens? No problem, I eat them like a goat. 🤣
Btw, too much garlic? I can never have enough garlic.
My gotdamn exgf was like this, man! Wouldn't even eat barbacoa at Chipotle!
Bro, leftovers are bomb in the morning. You put it all in a pan with a little bit of oil and heat it all up together and put it on a bread like a sandwich. Don’t knock it until you try it. FIRE 🔥
I feel a little bit attacked here. Hahaha. I'm a picky eater. I don't like most veggies. I don't like seafood and organ meat and spicy food. I don't act like a lil bish about it or anything. I'd order around it, like you said. And if that means I don't have a full meal, I'll eat a sammich at home later.
Have you ever tried roasted vegetables? It changes the flavor and texture compared to raw or steamed veggies. I used to not like a lot of vegetables until I started roasting them, then I started liking them more.
Grow tf up “I don’t eat veggies” unhealthy and overweight is what it’s giving
dude drown the veggies in butter! butter makes everything taste better. Im nearing 30 now and hadn't delved into veggies until the last 2 years and now I have a need and a preference for veggies. Once you start and force it for a couple weeks, it actually becomes a preference and your brain and stomach will crave it. Its weird but I promise it!
@@black4pienus grow tf up
A lot of the problem people have with veggies is not knowing how to cook them or thinking you have to eat them raw.
Oh I'm a picky adult... But my pickiness is I demand food that doesn't suck lol
A good move is to js pack it up and leave it 🤣 shit had me dead
😂😂😂 we stoped going out with certain people, because we don’t need a fuckN list of shirt you don’t like before we go out to eat 😂😂
bro please change the censorship to something else other than a quack sound like change it up a bit if theyre cussing back to back real quick
😂😂 There's really no such thing, You like what you like and you don't eat what you don't like, POINT BLANK FUCKIN SIMPLE, nobody likes EVERYTHING no matter how mature they are😂😂😂😂😂
Spaghetti and white rice is hella Filipino. We eat white rice with just about everything
I've noticed that a lot of people can't eat liver because somehow Americans have no idea how to cook liver or incorporate it in a dish. Liver is BOMB!
I just don't do organs. It grosses me out. Same with bone in meat.
@@JV-bc8um NO BONE IN MEAT!? Bro! That's where the flavor comes from! You grew up on hotdogs and nuggets didn't you?
@thomaschristopherwhite9043 no lol my parents are mexican. My mom is so knowledgeable in dishes that there was always something she could make to fit our palets. Some things I straight up won't eat others. I'll work around it like kbbq ribs, I cut the bones off the meat. Chicken soup? I make the broth with chicken legs and thighs sometimes to give it the flavor, then just take legs/thighs out and make the soup using breasts. I got my ways lol
@@JV-bc8um BROOOOO Breasts taste like cardboard oh my god. I'm having a panic attack reading this LOL!
Ppl that only eat chicken nuggets/tenders need to goooo bc wtf 😂
maybe i'm the jerk, but no one's company is better than good food. hahaha like if you have some baby ass mindset when it comes to food, we probably aren't even friends in the first place.
I farted
Wait an asian allergic to RICE?
The chosen one
Subin I'm trying to get my first bike i'm looking at a Rebel 300 you think it be a good first?
So did they kick Anthony off the show?
Unless you paying for my food i really fuckin dont care what you gotta say 😂
I dont eat tongue or lengua too. I used to eat really spicy food but now reduce eaating spicy because my tummy cant take it anymore.
Savoy's hainan chicken? Never understand why it's so hyped. Literally one of the worst hainan chickens I ever had anywhere.
My parents made me eat the wildest food when I was a kid, and I thank them for it. As a kid my parents gave me literally every innard parts of pig, cow and chicken. My dad even made me eat chicken testicle, or at least that's what he told me it was.
Bruhh that was uncle Terry's testicle
thought steve is a picky eater
Kind of a dumb take I've tried to eat all the things I don't like and still don't like it.
Yet at least you know you don't like them because you tried them. The person from the article wasn't even willing to try anything new and made others have to cater to their wants vs the groups.
Curry chicken heart is bomb! Steve!
I can’t eat mushrooms and chicken thighs. Also weird animals I can’t. But I absolutely LOVE onions and veggies.
2nd to like but 100th to watch how 😢
I love subin 😂❤
I'll try anything once. I'm an honest critic, though. I don't hype up anything unless it's worthy of it.
That’s mostly women😂
Bart’s description of hainan chicken 😂😂 on point
Bitter melon😍🔥🔥
Why force yourself to eat something you dislike? 😂
I think the point is, how will you know you don't like it if you aren't even willing to try it. That said though, I won't eat seafood.
Nutrients.
my partner hates indian food because of the smells, i tried to convince him. But when we arrived in front of the restaurant's he forcely refused because of the smells.
Dude I went on a date with a girl and she picked apart a menu and all she said the entire time was how she didn't like this and didn't like that about everything. JESUS CHRIST!
😂😂😂😂😅
My mom is picky as F, and it drives me and my dad crazy. Steve, Dragon Rolls are my jam. 🍣 Joe, I'm a white American and I eat natto over rice with an egg yolk and some spicy mustard. It's slimy but delicious. Durian stinks like butts and dead people, but the yellow flesh tastes like caramel to me. 👍🏻
🙋♀️ it's me, I'm picky.
