Small conversion to the staple makes it even easier and do more damage: ewgf (2x), f23F, df1, f23F, df1F:1+2:34. Does 82 dmg so more than the f3:1qcf2 finisher but also has better recovery though still about 6 frames less than the wind dash cancel into WS34.

thanks for the guide really helpful! I keep messing up the timings on the df+1 after the f23f. Also it looks like the notation on EWGF easy alt combos (around 2:02) are incorrect? (the ender is different and the juggles after EWGF would be alternating df2 and df1s)
EWGF staple combo at 1:06 seems to not work against Yoshi's character model for some odd reason, the 1+2 after final df2 into Sen doesn't land, it always misses, please try it out and confirm if it is the same way for you guys

How come you opt for HW 3+4 instead of HW 2 for that wall combo setup? Does the HW2 whiff siderollers or is it to catch people staying down?

hi. i am practing your combo at 1:05 . but i always missed the one df1->sen1+2 is this only because of the speed or something tips there?
The full combo will whiff on females(smaller characters)sometimes
Skip the last df1 do sen1+2 right out of f2,3f.

Hi River, mind to help verify, for those combo, after the part DF 1, F > SEN 1+2. Doesn't seem to be able to hit Xiaoyu and Zafina with the SEN 1+2. I tried on other characters is fine, not sure if only Xiaoyu and Zafina or have some other character that will not get hit by it.
The combo is a bit inconsistent against smaller characters. skip the last df1. Do SEN1+2 right after f23f is better.
I think with that combo if your delay sen 1+2 long enough it should work at least it does for me
@@thatpersoneveryoneknowsbut7533 Thanks, it works at times but kind of inconsistent so not for me I guess. Will use something more consistent with 1 hit less when facing smaller characters.

Sometimes with this combo, in df2, the enemy will land early, whether it is a large character or a small character. Is it necessary to add a side step at the front?
We can communicate in Chinese if you want to. Regarding the question, you can skip the df2 right after sen3, which will make it more consistent against smaller character. Reina combos have some hit box issues to smaller char, so skip a hit is the only solution.

@@RiverNileHK 啊哈哈是這樣嗎、謝謝您的體諒、不過我沒在用dc 、可能有問題的話還是這邊問您比較多、因為擔心少一個動作傷害就少了一些、但不知道是不是需要補一個側步調整位置什麼的、有時候就容易漏掉、而且是不管大型還是小型角色都有可能漏掉、有點苦惱。
@@RiverNileHK看過另外一個版本第二下用b3來接的、傷害雖然一樣但是你的這個版本比較容易帶到牆壁、所以還是比較喜歡您的這個版本

It takes time
It took sometimes to master it, but still it is humanly possible.
Try switching sides, funny thing I wave dash better on right and electric better on left.
But switching sides and forcing yourself helps you master timing and feel.
Also makes you comfortable when side switching
I play exclusively Mishimas and have had a good electric since tekken 5, good luck
@SwiftBandit23 it is not a bad idea to practice how to play on both side.

Any tips for hitting the d/f+2 after ewgf for the combo at 2:17? It is completely whiffing for me.
Maybe you hit ewgf to late?
@@RiverNileHK I'm averaging 27-28 frames between the end of the first d/f+2 and the start of the ewgf, is that too slow?
@pwnjob are you doing that with a female opponent? Some of her combos are inconsistent against smaller character
@@RiverNileHK Thanks for the replies, I was able to hit it after changing to a male opponent and also just inputting ewgf faster. It appears I need to start the ewgf at 24 frames or faster between the last d/f+2.
has this been nerfed or am i bad, its impossible to hit a 3rd ewgf for me or combo after a second one, (i suck at perfecting it but its always perfect during rage so i use that as my assessment) does the one in rage not hit as high if not inputted perfectly still?
Her ewgf has smaller hit box compare to other. It is harder for her to hit 3 ewgf. As I said, 3 ewgf combo is not necessary
@@RiverNileHK yeah but even 2 ewgf into f2 doesnt hit for me :D, I just use the simpler combos for now with only 1 ewgf!
You did the Ewgf too late. 2 ewgf to f2 should be her staple. Just need to practice a bit harder

@@RiverNileHK I think I have it now, it doesnt even need to be perfect, just no delay between EWGFs, I was doing a natural delay waiting for the first to complete, instead i should be buffering the next... thank you!

Tap df in HW, she will start wavedash. Then tap u to cancel WD. Hold back as soon as possible so that you can block sooner after HW
I'm new to tekken and i cant really do ewgf what would be highest damage combo without it?

There is a description under combos, some of them are said easy alt
WD3 seems to have been nerf down the damage after the patch and is not stated in the patch note about the reduced damage.
Did you do the just frame version. Just always have higher dmg.

The staple doesn't seem to work against Lee. the sentai 1+2 whiffs.
Yeah, same with Yoshi and some other female characters like Xiaoyu, in that case use Sen! 2 instead, for like 1-2 less damage, but at least it lands

The more I try to learn the angrier I’m getting. I just don’t understand how any of this feels good. I feel like I made a mistake learning her in game combos I have so many bad habits because hitting a 10 string just isn’t how to play. 😢
Maybe you can switch to other characters and learn other basic Tekken skill first like punishment movements then back to her later. I should do better with a short break. She is not easy for freshman.

Yeah, I use staple most of the time. But at least I know which combo to use in any circumstances.
How though I'm new to Tekken and I been landing these even on people who destroy me in lobby matches
