The fact that there's so many songs on this list that were released this year shows how good 2022 is for people who listen to girl groups
Its called recency bias, dont get me wrong I also love all of these songs, but quiet a few will be forgoten in a year or two. But I do agree that 2022 is a fantastic year for girl group stans.

THE FIFTH SEASON IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED OH MY GIRL AND GIRL GROUP TITLE TRACK. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL AND COMPLETELY DESERVES THE NUMBER 1 SPOT. Although oh my girl are known to be concept queens always experimenting throughout their discography, this fairytale, elegant concept imo is their best and this song completely supports that. The artistic and emotional style of the song to the visually beautiful mv and the graceful choreo IT JUST WORKS SO HARMONIOUSLY TOGETHER. And it’s honestly so sad that these types of concepts are not as common among Kpop groups. So I’m glad oh my girl has been able to deliver and slay this type of concept 🫶🏻🫶🏻

It's a bg's but I think the chaser is really the top of the top when it comes to kpop. Also, the lack of 2nd gen gg is criminal. Kara's Lupin, Jumping, Pandora is ugh *Chef kiss*, Tara's has some bops too. and chitty chitty bang bang was so impactful. One shot 2 shot is a personal fav, too. Anywway, I agree with some of the songs posted tho. Rocket Punch delivers QUALITY and there are some classics here too (Mago, Butterfly, Zombie, red falvor, peekaboo, likey, catch the stars, boogie up, love so sweet/in space, dumdurum, im so sick, love dive, ladida, love bomb, as you wish, siesta, would you run)
