- We're reliving one of the craziest adventures of our lives... 'The Great Adventure 3'. This was the tragic adventure that forced our beloved 'Salty Dingo' boat into retirement.

I am so upset anyone would say anything about Fran's voice. She is such a sweetheart and I love watching you two. Listening to both of you is so amazing. I really enjoy hearing her talk about the castaway kitchen and seeing her creative meals. Fran is truly half the show, love her voice and accent, she is so cute and brave jumping in those shark waters. Love watching all your videos the ladt few years. My wife and I were in Oz in 2018, wish we could of met you with when on dry dock. God Bless and keep up the great videos

The best part about going new places and meeting new people are their voices, personalities, cultures, food etc… embrace all of the differences! Fran has a beautiful voice and I never have a problem understanding her. My wife also speaks with a strong accent as English is her second language. It's not an easy thing to do. So respect to Fran for that.

I had no idea Fran used to feel that way about her voice. Her voice is lovely. The accents of both Strick and Fran are very hard for me to understand as an American. But I replay difficult spots until I get it. Usually I understand most of it on first pass but every few minutes there's just sounds and words I don't understand. But after about a year watching now, I am getting a lot better. The most important thing by far to be mindful of is that your energy and attitude need no translation. Love hearing both your voices and seeing the adventures.
Miserable people working jobs they hate and gaining a lot of confidence through Internet comments, meanwhile you two are out living the dream. Your subs prove you are loved. Keep up the great content and allowing us to live through you.

I remember this. One of my favorite episodes. I loved seeing Fran swimming with the dogtooth that she got when coming up to the sand bar 😂 my husband occasionally watches with me and he said he loves how relaxing it is to watch your videos. I told him its almost like I'm there.

Don't be self conscious Fran, your accent is totally lovable.
I've done plenty of fiberglass repairs on boats but when fiberglass breaks under that level of fatigue from being toed. It might be time to say goodby to the Salty Dingo & move into something safer. Although a gunnel crack like that is separated from the hull, the great risk is if you struck bad weather, the hull can buckle with out the rigidity of the gunnel & the side of the hull could crack in half. If i were going to repair a boat like this, i would triple reinforce the whole gunnels on both sides, foam fill & completely seal the foam in fiberglass to increase top strength & protect the hull better in the long term.

Great to see you guys again. My boat also had gelcoat faded. I am experimenting using Thompson Concrete and Wood Sealer on sealing mygelocoat. I ma tired of putting wax on it everythree months.
