Check out the test near the end where we hit the bare sheet metal with a hammer, and then hit the piece covered in X-Mat. I think that shows the same results as when we hit the door.
So my question is what do you use over this product. This product looks cheap. Is my only choice carpet over the top. And my Top question. How do do remove this product at a later date I have spent 4 days trying to get rid of a older product
Marcos, you can lay any replacement carpet or vinyl flooring over the Xmat. Is there something specific you are looking to install that I could answer better?

Marcos, I would not recommend to spray bedliner or any other coating over xmat products.

Meredith, this is a great idea but the underhood is made silver to help reflect as much heat as possible.
What can you lay up over the xmat besides carpet?
