*Benavidez can force mandatory by April 2025. He won against Andrade Nov 25, 2023 and mandatory can be mandated. After 18 months. While Benavidez isn't (a)forcing the issue, (b) wouldn't step into ring after Canelo beat Munguia upon Canelo request they both publically pitch the fight from the ring (c) when Canelo said fight should have $200 million purse. Canelo isn't holding this fight up. Neither is WBC. Its being held up by Benavidez and PBC. They can say whatever they want. Except Canelo isn't ducking Benavidez. David's peeps can't seem to put up any contribution to assist arriving into the $200 million neighborhood. David knows this, too. So he's moving up to 175 lbs* 🤣
