AP seems to bounce more easily than APDS

AP - armour piercing round. A round with no explosive. On impact this round tend to go through the armour and deals a little sharpnel damage... not that effective though..
On the other hand APDS - armour piercing discarding sabot. This round is basically a big dart made of very dense metal like tungsten, nickel or deplated uranium.. on impact the sheer kinetic energy converts into high temperature causes the armour and dart melt... and the molten lava type metal then goes through and deals comparatively more damage than AP shells .... effective but you need more than 2 shells to destroy a tank...
Best shells are APCBC and HEATFS.

APDS and APFSDS is better for really thick armour like(Maus,Tutels and Cold war era Soviet tanks)
AP(APCBC,APC,APBC) is good for medium armour

AP is full calibre armor piercing bullet. It have lower velocity that will hard targeting fast moving target, 100% ricochet at 70° angle mean it tend to ricochet when hitting sharply angled armor plate. It have low penetration value against angled armor but have good post penetration damage due big mass and shooting enemy tank at center of mass often kill it in one hit. APDS is armor piercing with discarding sabot, have higher velocity mean you can easier to shoot fast moving target, 100% ricochet at 77° angle mean it can penetrate tank that have sharp angled armor plate with less ricochet. It have better penetration value against angled armor but have little post penetration damage so you must target specific module like crew or ammo rack to kill a tank. If you facing T-44 platoon, T-54 platoon, T26E1, jagtiger, Maus,better use APDS so you can pen them easily

I suggest to use the American m47 platoon, it's a pain in the beginning but you'll enjoy after fully leveling it

I think every tank have their weakness. Nothing best at all. As leopard user, we hate APCBC round fly from Object 906 to my blind spot 😂

@@unknowndivision170 Every tank has its weak point, but the leopard continues to have fewer weaknesses than Russian tanks.
The Leopard is fast, has good reverse speed, good penetration, good reloading rate and even has its composite armor that absorbs some shots, unlike Russian tanks, with their outdated pure steel armor.

@@hessherman717 Composite armor? Please check wiki WT, leopard A1A1 use 70mm RHA for it's frontal armor not composite armor. Composite armor is for leopard 2 and more modern MBT. I have experience facing leopard A1A1 with T10A and I always shoot leopard without thinking 😂. American and Soviet tank more resistant to full caliber round compare to leopard. The only protection of leopard tank is mobility, shoot and take cover asap. Also German and American tank have raised engine deck so it will affect gun depression when you facing enemy behind you. This can be exploited by experienced player.
