This is just a cool boat - and more so as the concept have held up very well over the years. It would be interesting to see how the linkages and sensors work in a video.

@Rolf Nilsen Hi, are requesting more about the rudder AoA system? There is a short clip in the beginning of the video. I plan to post more on the FB page for the TriFoiler in the coming months. I will have the details on the Wiki site for the TF.

I’d love to see a video with a camera on a tripod nicely moved, aimed, and adjusted at you as you set up the boat and explain not only how to set up the boat, but what the different components are designed to do.
I’ve watched your/the trifoiler videos for years, and this new 360 camera gives a much better perspective of the experience! I look forward to see where you take things in the future!

@@andrewbermel1099 I just noticed this comment by you. We have video of the rigging and sailing techniques. For some reason, I can't paste the link here. I will try to send it via an alternative method. If not, please do a search for it. Thanks

Amazing video!!! Why in the world did Hobie quit making these. Along with all the other amazing, fiberglass boats like the 17’ 21’. Now they just make these rotomolded garbage. Disposable boats.

Please let me know if there are any sails that are interchangeable with the Trifoiler. It seems that Hobie would use the same sails for scales of economy. Please & Thank You

Hy Dan, it looks like you have mounted a Torqueedo electic motor with modified steering and the battery located inside the boat.
Can you send or display some detailed pictures?

This boat is no longer in production. There were only about 200 made and they are spread out around the world. Mostly here in the States. The most active social media site is on Facebook, called Ketterman Trifoiler - the fastest production sailboat ever made. If you go to eBay, and search or create a tag to alert you when there is one available, is another platform to search owners willing to sell.
