Hello Laura🌷 You gave us super great looks that won't break the bank account 😉. I love the first eye look with all three steps. When I was young they taught the third step in modeling, decades ago, to open the eye look‼️ It still works for a polished overall finish❤❤ Wow,you look amazing. Yes, the lid look is great with the shine too, it makes your eyes "pop". You did a great look with a L'Oreal powder that had a high shine, a couple of years ago,still use that powder eyeshadow and receive compliments,Ty🎉.
P.S. I was taught to spritz my eyeshadow with rubbing alcohol after using it to keep it clean. It also works if you have an eye show that breaks or cracks in a pan. I wet my finger with alcohol and amazing how it reforms. Just an old model's trick to pass on,lol.

I typically use either the Ulta eye shadow primer or the Mac Paint Pot in Painterly bc I have darkness on my eyelids. You recommended the Mac paint pot & I bought it in the Ulta sale last month at half off. I’m loving it.

Hey Laura Rae! I love the reformulated WNW MegaLast eyeshadow primer; I used the old PhotoFocus formula for many years. But when I want to use a lighter shade, I use the Jason Wu pigmented primer. It's just a shade or two lighter than my naked eyelid skin, but sometimes that's all I need. It's a bit pricier than the WNW, but there's also more product in the tube. I love your look today, you look so well-rested! Thanks for the video!

Laura Rae, great tips in this tutorial. I definitely deal with a bit of depth and loose skin. I too really like the MAC pots as primers, and often just them on no makeup days. Curious about the travel size brushes for better control and placement. I actually had not thought that bringing the darker color closer in visually narrows space between eyes. Laura, I loved both looks. I love the Armani liquid tint and bought a matte & a shimmer. I have deepest eyes and as I am getting older that makes them look hooded also. I put the matte on the lid to above the crease and shear out above the crease then the shimmer on the lid using a bronze liner at the lash line. I think the plum liner you shared would look beautiful also. Thank you for sharing so many beautiful looks and tips with us❤

Both looks were fab! I've been eyeing the Armani eye tints but wondered how they'd do on crepey eyelids. So thank you for demo'ing. For months I thought I had hooded lids, but really they are just the eyeball sinking in more, LOL. I find that I have so much lid space below the brows so I feel like I need to fill it in with some color (shadow or even bronzer or blush) so that there isn't this large space with nothing on it. TY for your explanations, they are super helpful!

Great tutorial! At 78 I definitely have hooded & crepey eyelids. I’ve found I can’t use any liner that has color. I seem to allergic to them. I’m fine with brown or black. Love both looks! Would like to be able to afford high end eye products!❤

I don’t comment often, but I do want to thank you for your time in doing these videos. I appreciate the different looks, and I liked all of them. It’s nice to have options. I don’t wear makeup daily but I like to rotate my shadows and colors so I will use all of them. Your teaching style is wonderful. I’m sure your school will miss you dearly, but I know you’ll enjoy retirement. I do hope you’ll continue doing videos though!

I have grass green eyes so I wear a lot of pinks, lilacs, and purples on my eyes. I don’t do much neutral tones. I am going to try some neutrals.

Hi Laura 2 great eye looks .i love both of them and watching the techniques is really helpful. Does the Armani eye tint move easily? My eyes tend to water and ruin the shadow on the lid which a very crepey as well. What would you suggest?😊
Looks so pretty does the Pat McGrath powder only come in one color because I noticed you said it was yellow. I would love to see a purple eyeliner on you with your hazel eyes are bitch it would be just as beautiful.

The Flower Beauty eye tints are similar but I am not sure if they have this is shade. I will need to research it.❤️❤️
It's not just loss of fat around the eyes that makes them look smaller. If you have osteopenia/porosis like I do, bone loss from around the orbits of the eyes actually cause the eyeballs to recede further back into the skull. Yuck.
Is the Armani eye tint similar to Charlotte tilbury cream eyeshadow Jean?
I haven’t tried that shade. The Armani eye tints are more sheer than the cream eyeshadows from Charlotte.❤️

My eyelids are not oily anymore. You may need to use a primer first for long wear.❤️
