Che Ira di Dio!
C'è poco da fare.. il migliore!
seems like I saw Michael Landau credited on Chicago 17
Heard Pete Thorn raving about this guy. I can see why.
he's strangling that thing !but what a sound....only ML....
Ez fasza !
Not sure why it lists Kirk Fletcher as a special guest.........unless he is in the audience :)
On this evening Kirk Fletcher played with the Michae Landau Liquid Quartet two song as special guest. You can see it here: czcams.com/video/mLhIY_d-nR8/video.html and czcams.com/video/i-e3u3oTugU/video.html
Chuck Berry approved.
He is touching Hendrix at some moments ..
he is way beyond hendrix
@@jamesha175 Technically, yes. But there is something about Hendrix's phrasing and conception that is very personal. Landau isn't competing with Hendrix: he's acknowledging him, while trying to push beyond. Which is the best kind of tribute.
It's rather like Landau's relationship to Beck. You can hear the similarities, and the technical superiority, but in the end he's his own man. He deserves to be better known, or at least acknowledged.
1:58
1:09 the heck of a chord is that...? Sounds exquisitely ripped from Scott Henderson style, but I can't figure out what it could be...anyway sounds soooo cool!
at 1:08ish he is going between a F#7/11 (x x 4 3 0 0) and F#7sus4 (x x 4 4 0 0), then at 1:15 its a Bbm7b5 (x x 8 9 9 9).
F#11. Play an F# barre chord in the second position, then just open the high E and B strings. Quite simple, but really cool sounding.
@@fiendskull9 damn of an ear you got, mate! thank you!
@@ariamelodydj9256 yep thanks a lot!
