Strait up this guy is like a therapist. last year I was going through a lot of rough stuff and his videos really helped.
"I don't wanna do this right now". He said this every argument. I was alone during my relationship. And now? I'm alone with me, myself, and I. I wasn't going to fight someone who didn't wanna fight for a better us.
Joycelin L. That’s what I’m facing right now...
I know you, it feels so hard, but hopefully you give more love to yourself!❤️
I really love your editing.😍 And of course: your world hit every time cause there are so to the point and open my mind every time more
Okay, so this has got to be a sign. I came across Nathaniel Drew's video today, the focus of which is to "just be yourself". Then I watch 'Can You Keep A Secret' on Netflix, a movie about self-love and not hiding your true self in a relationship and not living your life to impress others. Then comes your video, Joey.
You know what, I think I'm going to have to listen to this advice. I am not in a relationship, yet I am enjoying being single and working on myself. I learn new things about myself every day.
So true Atinuke we can never do enough work on ourselves. Always a work in progress.
Loved your refreshing outlook on relationships Joey. We all all need to just be valued for who we are.
I loved this video. I have really only had one relationship but everything you said makes perfect sense. It is impossible to share your life with someone without being who you are. Since then I have changed and grown. It was nice to learn a bit more and see your insight on the subject. The idea of impressing someone really caught my attention. I always believed if someone loves you then they accept you for who are. Keep up the good work😊
Paloma- loved your honestly. So important to be true to ourselves!
Loved the video! It made me realize a lot about my parents marriage and why it ended. They both stopped trying and I have been too scared to fall in love because I don’t want to go through the shit they went through. Thank you for sharing this, so I can have the opportunity to grow in a relationship with someone and not be afraid ❤️❤️
Joey you did it again!! Can’t wait for new Merch hope the stay you crews are coming back!! ♥️
Joey, you’re hilarious and kindhearted. Thank you for these videos!
Joey, this video speaks VOLUMES!! I am happy to say that my three year relationship is still going very strong because we still have so much fun, we still care and will of course "argue" or disagree and we still try to impress each other ahaha. Thank you for this video, it was amazing!
You always get me in my feels, you're great Joey❤️
Great video Joey!!! I also wanted to say I just bought your book and just got through reading it it's fantastic I got a lot of good advice cuz maybe things you went through I went through myself almost identical!!! Thanks for writing the book!!!😀😀
Another video with a lot of sense and truth, thanks again! Bro love from South Africa
U are so inspirational, I like the diversity of your content and your calm personality ❤️ wish you and your girlfriend the best

Oh my god hahaha her face at the end with what joey said was hilarious. I laughed so much at this video but it also made me know exactly were to stand in the future when I have a relationship, because I don't have one right now so yeah...
omg she’s like jaws hecking snatched that cookie 😂 😂 😂
ahha first take too..so she has done this before
Havent watched yet but already know its gonna be a good video
aw thanks
This video is amazing!!
At our core, I believe we all want to be loved. Sometimes, we go to great lengths to gain a sense of belonging to something, to someone. But compromising our integrity will never result in the authentic love we seek. By not remaining true and instead of trying to be the "me" others want to see, I undermine my efforts and desire to be wholly loved just as I am. I'm simply staging and showcasing fragments and fabricated parts of me; highlighting a counterfeit self. Staying genuine and embracing who I am despite all of my frailties and brokenness, I allow myself to be fully known and loved by others. Ultimately, resulting in my ability to fully know and love them in return...
You are so right Joyce, we all want to be heard, loved and valued.
Love your videos
Woohhhh loved this❤❤❤
I felt all that. The realization hit me in the face
*Sees title*
Me: being myself 😂😭
this vid hit hard, i legit will probably think about this for a week, at least

I have been trying to find the perfect hat. I only wear certain types of hats, I hate dad hats so im on the hunt
Personally I think once you've actually got the person you e always wanted and that person has fallen in love with you after those many dates. You're actaully more happy than before you pretty much feel like you're on top of the world and that you're possibly gonna spend the rest of your life with this person which to me in my perspective is amazing it just brings so much joy. Plus even after those dates, you'll still have other things to do to spice things up. The person will learn more about you over time and things will be really amazing I honestly feel like after those dates and stuff getting to know the person on a deeper level a level they wouldn't share unless they truly love you really brings a beautiful love story a beautiful relationship. To sum it up its the best part after those dates, I mean yes it gets real and perhaps sometimes hectic but it's what really shows how much you want them love them care for them and would do anything in the world for them.♥️♥️
Wow this video hits hard 😮
Watching this even though i have no relationship to ruin. 😂😂😂
I don’t think you ever stop trying impress them.
Oh God. This hits hard on the forehead
this reminds me of old school joey videos except actually with a girl this time lol
omg
Damn I miss him so much
Sad
i destroy things before they can become a relationship
Me: sees title
Also me: well I already know how to do that but oh well😭
Then I guess there are some deeper questions that need to be asked
💖
This has nothing to do with the video but my parents literally argue all the time but they never last more than a day. My mum will always be shouting and complaining about my dad. They even admitted that they only stayed married because of me and my sister. Can I please have some advice or something?
This is similar to my issue, my parents argue all the time and bring me into it sometimes. I hate hearing them argue it really messes with me mentally. My dad tells my mom to shut up, he walks out when she’s trying to understand and solve an issue, if he’s done with a convo he’ll be like I’m done and tells her to stop talking. He manipulates her and tells her that she’s the wrong one and the one with problems. He makes hidden remarks about her weight and says that she can never take a joke and she’s just sensitive. And now I can see it getting to her, she’s starting to really think it’s all her. The thing is I don’t see how they can pretend everything is fine after all arguing when hurtful things have been said. I don’t see how the love can still be there at the end of the day. Sometimes I wish they could get a divorce but I know that would cause more problems. Ever since I can remember they’ve always argued and I really want to know if this was always the case before I was born, because I don’t see how she’d just stay in this kind of relationship. I don’t even want a relationship because a lot of stuff triggers me and reminds me of my parents relationship. ( sorry for the long rant) I just have no way of letting stuff out and if anyone else has dealt with this do you have any advice?
@@studenttravel6386 I do hope you are fine mentally and physically. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is hearing constant shouting everyday. The older I get things seem to become worse. From what I hear I am getting vibes that your dad might be emotionally abusing your mum. I'm not too sure . My situation is much mild I think so if things escalate to something more serious , please get help. I'm literally only 12 so my advice isn't good at all but I promise things will get better, and im not just saying that to make you feel better, I will pray for you whether you believe in God or not.
@@studenttravel6386 also sometimes I go round to my friends house and I see their parents actually being so nice to each other and I kinda feel like wow their are actually couples that exist that really love each other.
Siri passed the vibe check 😂
for YOU maybe
