it's a really beautiful poem but she still only has sex with guys who just wanna smash and friendzones guys who love her authentically lol
it just sounds like schizophrenia.
"How does the burnt forest love to trust the sun again?"
Beautiful imagery laced throughout, and this one of burning is especially effective as it goes from the boy being a match burning her skin to the boy being a sun burning her entirety.
Poetic Journey this line stood out to me in a big way also but I had a totally different interpretation. I love hearing another point of view on it. I took it as the forest knowing it’s always trusted the sun and needs the sun to live but after it’s been burned so badly, the heat/fire from it makes the forest weary of blindly trusting it again

I don't get this.
Up north of the ash is bound to be warm. If it's up north, it's also closer to the sun so it can't be colder up there.
It sounded beautiful but I'm not seeing the logic yet.

This poem totally relates to me right now in my life, because there's this girl that likes me and she mostly only says she loves physical things about me. The only time she's recovered to my personality is when she says I have this sort beautiful voice that is always saying rude things about my friends.
As beautiful as her body may be, her actions, her personality, her words and her experiences to create poems of is what makes her truly a beautiful person. This was such a beautiful poem.

It's an important message. How we care more about if the boy loves our body and not our ownself. How we learned that we can only love our body if the boy loves it. How we are only our body.

I'm thinking it was a poem about a boy she cared about and her having casual sex, and after so many times of him falling in love with her body and not her she sort of forgot how to love herself.
^ but also about how being objectified can leave an effect on your whole perception of yourself like how are you supposed to like yourself when all youre ever appreciated for is your body which u dont have control over
