Suzuki could have added CVT transmission In their lineup rather than axing it out as I know very well the lag of AMT version and transmission are not that smooth that of CVT.
As they have increased the car weight and the build quality is also gone up a notch, they had no choice than to go for an AMT instead of a CVT for fuel efficiency purpose.
Downgrading the transmission in automatic version and adding some smart & safety features to keep the cost in control and making it affordable, that’s a checkmate. Maruti has been in my family since last 20-25 years and it is not about built quality always instead safety is totally about how’s your driving behaviour on roads, being attentive while driving, no drink & drive, not using cellphone and understanding your surroundings.
I like his review...he is being honest...as he said the upgrade version is late...because other car companies didn't leave any option for the maruti so it has to upgrade but why so late ??? It has to come in 2020 or 2021 but it came in 2022 and car will be available for normal selling in April or May or later on...
Don't buy this car. They are giving 1.2 dual jet while in global markets 1.4 l engine is offered that too made in India. Dump Maruti for treating us a second class customer

Maruti should have given ventilated seats and cooled glovebox that are very useful in our hot and humid climate .. And also back seat arm rest with cup holder too.. All these are useful features. Anyhow, this time around, maruti has done a good job.
No CVT, full digital display, tpms, shark finn antenna. Could have given some of these instead of HUD. Although 360 camera is a nice feature to have. Let's see how good it actually is.
360 camera is not so useful as it is a compact car shark fin antenna they should have given as it does not cost muchand that old cluster,old steering and old side ac vents ae things which would look nice in this interior
₹6.35 lacs ex showroom means 7.25 lacs approx on road which is equivalent to the previous generation Delta variant which has projector headlamps, music system, all power windows, wheel caps, 2 air bags, rear defogger, auto climate control and some other features in the same price without compromising the 339 litre of boot space. So previous generation Delta was actually a value for money offering. Maruti knows how to fool Indian customers. If you can find previous gen Baleno Delta/Zeta models, better go for them. They are still far better and a value for money proposition over the new baleno. You won't feel any difference in the power while driving both 83 bHp and 89 bHp variants as the torque figure remains the same.
