- Ukraine’s President Zelensky says his troops have made more advances against Russian forces.
It comes days after Ukrainian forces retook the strategic town of Lyman in the east of the country.
Now the Ukrainian advance in the south around the city of Kherson is said to be making progress, with the recapture of outlying villages from Russian forces.

The city of Lyman has an absolute record of speed. In the evening of September 30 it was included into Russian Federation (Putin signed the decree), and the very next day it left the federation. That was the quickest "brexit" ever.
It wasn't left the federation, its still part of it.
