For the longest time I was worried you had passed; so when I saw that you uploaded this I was so happy to see that you're still uplading amazing content, please do keep this up so that way I still have someone to idolize!!!
I agree! Lev Weksler is haunting my thoughts at least once a month since I found this channel at least five years ago! I seriously hope to keep hearing more from this amazing musician as long as I can, and as long as he can continue playing, which I hope is for a long time to come! I wish the best to him, his art, his health, and his family!
I do not care how it was made.. I am a professional bass player with nearly 60 years of experience and I want to mention here that even just playing chords like that on an upright bass with solid intonation requires tons of hours of practicing on top of a huge talent. And we also have here pretty good bowing skills and many other achievements. And this is a very musical performance. Bbravo, lev!
I just found this and this is amazing! (i play double bass in my class and this makes me want to get even better at it) So this might be my inspiration from now on. Yay!
Dear Aidos, unfortunately I don't give lessons. But since many of my viewers are interested in my arrangements for a double bass, I am working on publishing some of them with the fingering indication and explanations of some of the features of my alternative technique. I hope this will be helpful for you and keep practicing.

Amazing. I hope you get more credit, sharing this with my orchestra and my mariachis, and my brass band and choir

A legend returns
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent and years of hard work. You are an exceptional artist and today you have touched my soul.
Thank you Aaron! Even though I do my "hard work" with my own pleasure, I am very glad to share this pleasure with you.
Legend is back

Amazing! I'm a fan of yours, Sir! :D
Glad to hear that!

Good Day Lev, nice to see you upload some more double bass goodness
Beautiful!
Amazing!
You play amazingly! Could you try scherzo tarantella for double bass? I have tried to find a cover, but couldn’t.
amazing talent
Have you ever tried Chopen Nocturne 2 on the bass? I was always curious how that would sound.
Magnificent
멋져요❤
return of the king
King of all basses 🤯
This sounds like cello music 😊
❤
YOU’RE BACK
Fantastic as usual...such a unique and amazing playing style!!
Dear Prof. Weksler,
After many years of practice, I have gained courage and I believe that it is a time. I am ready to apply to your class.
Same!!!

@mrCrackovi4 - you shoud teach Lev! you play amazingly well. perhaps what you'd want are lessons in audio engineering/post production :)
Omg, It’s been so long since your last video. This is also so wonderful, I love it ❤
I thought that was 2 people at first lol😂
I haven't caught one of your videos in a while, great to catch another superb piece by you!
Very enjoyable :)
Glad you like them!
This is incredible. Can't believe I hadn't seen this before
Could I ask why you haven't uploaded in so long
Because I'm old and lazy.
No fretboard, no problem...
This is crazy..
I don't know Rick...
Just HOW extended is your fingerboard and how would one go about even getting bass with one
He's also tuned up a fourth to A D C C.
Love him or hate him, Lev Weksler does not care about the accusations, bravo
If someone doesn’t believe that the double bass is a musical instrument, that’s their problem, not mine.
Vielen Dank!
Unbelievable hardworking ❤️❤️
nice
Уникально!
🔥❣️👏🏻
both are good but the guy on left with the bow is much better!
Almost perfect, there are few intonation issues..
Do your fingers fall off 😂
You can't premiere Sarasate....He premiered himself
