Anna kept warning her. She even turned around a few times. Alba just wouldn't stop going for the mango. Anna test Alba very much and she fails every time.
The mango didn't cause Anna to discipline Alba, Alba caused her own discipline by trying to take food from Anna's hand which is a huge no-no in the world of monkeys and especially for Anna. Anna is making sure Alba understands never to do that, it could cause her to get maimed or killed.
When moms like Anna discipline their babies, they don’t cowtow to them. They’re not mean, they just laid down the law and said that there are certain things that they won’t put up with……Like nursing all the time.

Well the rule is kids never eat before adults because mom has to have food to make milk for the kid and many of the foods the kid is too young to eat would make it sick just getting taught early

Monkeys have thier own set of rules and eating order they must follow if not they get punished. Mothers eat before thier children and very few monkeys share thier food. Usually they don't share food they are greedy this way.

The only way she can teach those rules is by disciplining her young whenever they break those rules. Way too many people expect these wild animals to be like human beings but they are not humans

@Turtle Lady 23 hours a day. So that gives Anna only one hour each day on the ground to get food. Don't you see that isn't possible? Anna often feeds Alba while on the ground. As is her custom only a couple Of minutes at a time. Since neither I nor you knows what goes on at night. That is conjecture on your part. But putting all that aside, Alba's appearance of being undernourished tells the tale, no matter what you think happens at night. Alba does not get enough food to thrive.
@@capitalec they have a hierarchy which is in place to protect them from predators all society's have a leader it shows they have higher intelligence than many animals. The Lions do similiar
@@capitalec All Macaque moms drop pieces of food while they eat & the babies are supposed to eat that food. It also teaches them their first foraging skills. Plus the babies still nurse until they're 5-8 mos old.
If you actually looked up info on what Primatologists say, like I do, you'd already know that & wouldn't have written a comment that's completely wrong.
I mean, it only takes 5 mins to look up info & read the research on maternal infant behavior.
The Primatologists at NIH are the most credible, top researchers, in the world, on Macaques & Macaque behavior. I used their data many times for research papers.

@@annahunt8988ope. Alba, by that time knew better than to eat it. Contrary to what some may think, she was NOT starving. Anna left numerous pieces of that mango on the ground but that wasn't good enough for the greedy rat. Wether you or anyone else likes it or not, fact is there's a pecking order in the lives of these animals, it's been that way since the dawn of time and NO ONE is going to change that. It's just the nature of these beasts. Rarely do moms share, moms are the bosses and the offspring will obey them or suffer the consequences.
The cameramen are not the certified protectors or saviors of these vermin, nor is it their place to rescue, save injured or abandoned rats or spend their own money to feed these gluttonous pigs.
The main problem with these vermin is that feeding them has caused so many issues. The government needs to completely outlaw feeding these lazy pests, that would quell so many problems instantly. It should've never been started in the first place, that's one of the main reasons for the overpopulation now.

@@TheJaker5 Exactly, many of these ppl who watch these videos don't realize these monkeys are small. Female adults average 20-22 inches tall & males 24-26 inches tall. The babies are so tiny, they don't even weigh 1 lb.

Macaques 101: Babies DO NOT eat until the adults are finished.
That is not necessarily true. Just from my observation infants often eat their mother's droppings and will bite at food. Most moms will sometimes stop the infant and prevent them from reaching for food but usually by just putting it out of reach. Anna is too food aggressive. She has even gone after Alba for looking at food. Alba needs to learn when to eat not not to eat and with a mother like Anna that is difficult. I know in some species they have more of an order but even in those infants of higher-ranking females will eat before low-ranking adults. Infants learn from their mothers and what Alba is learning is that it is okay to take food from humans which is probably how Alba got taken.

They've foraged and fed themselves since the dawn of time, they didn't have humans feeding them then and they sure don't need humans feeding them now. The Cambodian government should ban/outlaw ALL feeding of these monkeys.
@@msbigdog1460 No they should not be given food for health reason and to keep them from reproducing to fast. However many places allow it because it prevents the macaques from raiding farm and crops.
They should never be pets either. Also they need to prosecute people who trade in monkey torture videos.

Es gibt bei den Makkaken eine ganz strenge Hirarchie und die muss eingehalten werden, koste es was es wolle und in dieser Hirarchie sogar noch eine Unterordnung, Rangordnung unter den Erwachsenen, auch die wird strengstens eingehalten.
Die VOs wissen das ganz genau und trotzdem füttern sie immer wieder die Babys um so an Filmmaterial heran zu kommen, im vollen Bewusstsein, dass sie damit die Bsbys auf dem Gewissen haben könnten, wenn also die Gruppe Makaken deren Anna angehört das mitbekommt, wird Alba um ihr Leben fürchten müssen und Anna kann dies nicht verhindern, sie muss tatenlos zusehen und sie könnte von der Gruppe ausgeschlossen werden.
Dasselbe passierte mit Daniela, sie bezahlte mit ihrem Leben und daran waren auch, hauptsächlich die VOs schuld 😡😡.
Immer und immer wieder haben sie Daniela gefüttert vor den Augen der gesamten Gruppe, alle haben Daniela gewarnt, immer und immer wieder, sie starb noch am selben Tag auf grausame Art, ein erwachsener männlicher Monkey zeriss sie in Stücke, zurück blieb eine trauernde Gruppe Monkeys.
Anna hat ihre Schützlinge immer sehr streng, aber auch sehr liebevoll erzogen, Disziplin gehört nun mal dazu, was für die einen als brutal erscheinen mag.
Man darf eines dabei aber nie vergessen, es sind immer noch Wildtiere und keine Menschen.
Einige neigen dazu, Tiere zu vermenschlichen und das ist falsch.
Was die VO machen ist ist meiner Meinung nach falsch, sie rennen den ganzen Tag den Monkeys hinterher, werfen ihnen irgend welches Fressen vor die Füsse, damit sie fette 💰💰💰$ machen können aus lauter Profitgier.
Es geht ihnen gar nicht um die Tiere, sonst würden sie nicht in ihre Privatsphäre eindringen, sie ständig verfolgen und sich an die Regeln der Tiere halten.
Dieser Tempel ist dreckig, voller Müll, Plastik, den die VOs hinterlassen wenn sie ihnen, zb. ganze Packungen China-Nudeln mit Gewürz und Oel vor die Füsse schmeissen und wie man ja weiss, fressen die Monkeys alles, was ihnen vor die Nase fällt.
Es gibt keine Obstbäume, keine Kokosnüsse, rein gar nichts womit sich die Monkeys gesund ernähren können.
In den letzten drei Jahren sind diese Filme wie Pilze aus dem Boden geschossen und viele davon sind Fake oder zusammen grschnitten.
Eine ganze Gruppe von Tierschützern sind denen längst auf die Schliche gekommen.
Die übertriebenen und irreführenden Überschriften, dienen nur dazu um Menschen anzulocken, Likes zu kassieren für 💰💰💰$😡😢!

That baby got fed plenty from her mother's milk! This is an old video. Alba, the baby in it, grew up to almost 2 years old before she disappeared. So she didn't starve, her mother ALSO taught her to forage, something most of the other temple mother monkeys don't even know HOW to do! That mother Anna, is one of the best mothers that they film. Her babies become strong, brave, and independent at very young ages. When most of the other babies are just starting to be weaned, Anna's kids are already off the milk. Just because you may not like the way it looks how she's raising her kids, doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's doing.

How would you know of she let's that rat nurse or not?? You see a 5-10 minute video and just because mom didn't allow the rat to be glued to a tit the entire video, you accuse her of starving it! So what if the rat eats dirt, they also eat dried turds from off the ground that other monkeys crapped out. Rules are that adults eat first, all moms drop pieces of their food on the ground, that's for the rat to eat, if Alba didn't want that then she gets nothing. These monkeys do NOT share, it's been that way since the dawn of time and it's NOT going to change now.
You say it's 'heartless', well it's actually called survival of the fittest. These monkeys do NOT love, care, have compassion, feel sympathy none of those emotions, those are all human emotions and traits. These females have only one purpose in life and that is to reproduce the next generations. They give birth, feed, teach, protect and then send them off to do the exact same thing, then mom pops out another rat and the cycle starts all over again.
They don't love their offspring, they don't have a 'bond' it's just a life's 'job' for them.

The first and foremost problem is feeding any of these morbidly obese vermin. These animals have fed themselves for millions of years without ANY humans handing it to them and they sure don't need humans feeding them now! The government needs to outlaw ALL feeding of these vermin. There's plenty of food all around them, they're just too lazy to go get it. They're entirely dependent on humans for everything and that's wrong and needs to be stopped.

You don't know how much milk Anna gave alba. Most monkeys don't like to share food. Anna has to teach the pecking order to alba.
