I sure hope he surprises everyone, myself included
same as every year
Not happening but love his confidence.
Keep off the muscle off the upper body that's my advice.
@@jalynnbk6699 if he were to win the 100m Olympics Gold, that would be a legendary 10+ year comeback
2nd fastest man in the 100 and 200m put some respect on his name!!
He's typically the 3rd . Tyson Gay is the second
@@ksmooth8787 which event is Gay #2?
@henrihelvetica5835 100m. time " 9.69 "
@@ksmooth8787 If you looked at the all time senior men outdoor ranking, you would see both Blake & Gay at #2, which shows both men share a joint spot #2 with 9.69. Blake isn't typically the third because there's no third in the ranking since both men have the same time. Now, even if they had to choose one to separate them, Blake's 9.69 would have to be ranked higher since he clocked it with a wind speed of -0.1 while Gay clocked his with a tail wind of +2.0. Gay had a lot more wind assistance in running his 9.69 than Blake did, so I would rate Blake's time more impressive if there was ever a need to separate them.
@@ksmooth8787 Blake 9.69 was done in a negative wind. Tyson was done in a positive wind. Do the maths .
My friends, if you don’t believe in yourself no one will. And if you have put in all the work, why settle for anything less. I wish Blake all the best, age is just a number and I see the fire burning!
But when Noah believes in his self and says he could win gold it’s a problem lol
Age is as real as the air you breath - remember that!
@@osuk1Gatlin ran 9.74 at 34 years old and that may be fast enough to win gold in Paris, neither Colmen or Lyles has run that fast. Blake is 34 and has run faster then all three of them so it's possible that it can be done.
@@phoebusIt's not what Gatlin has accomplished at his age. It's what Blake is actually capable of running and so far he has proven that he can't run in the lower 9.8s or 9.7s at 34 years old.
@@phoebusGatlin was banned for 4years which in some way prolonged his career and he peaked almost immediately after his return but the likes of Bolt,Gay, Blake and now Gatlin are over the hill now. Yes, he's still competitive but the writing is on the wall. All of his peers are now retired.
I think Yohan getting a medal in the 100m final this Olympics would be great. If he gets a gold medal, it would be one of the greatest 'comebacks' in track & field history, especially given the field of contenders now. Keep believing Yohan. You are one of the greatest to ever do it!
He gonna have to run in the 9.70's if not the 9.60's to medal.
@@SPIDERM0OSE I agree with you. The competition is very stiff right now.
@@SPIDERM0OSE if he funs 9.60s he has easy gold
I hope God's plan for him is an amazing one...and I wish him the best, whether he wins or not he's tough as nails and is resilient despite his injuries, if it weren't for the freak of nature bolt he would have been a multiple olympic gold medalist/world champion. Best of luck ✌
"I hope God's plan for him is an amazing one"
- God's plan?
I would rather say if it wasn't for that serious hamstring injury he suffered - he was never the same athlete again .That prevented him from being a potential Olympic gold medallist - not Bolt. In his prime he was a beast and has beaten Bolt in the Jaimacan trails already. Between him and Bolt, they would have shared the spoils when it comes to Olympic and World Athletics Championship Gold medals. That serious injury he suffered put paid to that.
@@godfreysampson6432 bolt wasn't beatable in the 100 tbh until the very end of his career. Blake was damn close in the 200. Him beating bolt in the trials didn;t matter if Bolt beat him at the olympics the same year
@@kjford587 Agree 100% - Bolt was not beatable until the 2017 World Athletics Championships at age 30 . The point I am making is that if Blake did not suffer the career damaging injury in 2014 at the age of 24 - the athletics achievements between the 2 of them may have been different.
These are my reasons: Bolt ran his fastest times at the age 22 breaking his own world records in 100m and 200m in Berlin 2009. He went on to win 2012 & 2016 Olympics and 2013 & 2015 World Championships. At the 2012 Olympics Bolt (25) was better than Blake 22. At the 2016 Olympics Bolt was 29 Blake 26 ( but he Blake was not the same athlete)
Blake suffered his serious injury at the age of 24 in 2014. There is a strong possibility that between ages 24-28 he would have definitely mproved and run faster ( like most male sprinters do) if he did not suffer the injury. He was on an upward trajectory while Bolt was stagnant in terms of improving on his times ( yes he won all major championships but he did not improve on his times since 2009 ). Yes the same could have applied to Blake - we will never know. Though I believe if it wasnt for his injury , he had , talent , age and hunger on his side to improve and beat Bolt in an Olympics or World Championship. This is my opinion- we can only speculate what could have been.
From Ghana but I love this man
Always get goose bumps whenever I see him
Wishing him nothing but the best
That era is long gone my friend
Long gone but never to be forgotten
@@CK-cj1ll 💯
My favourite sprinter of all time 💫
This man such a treasure.
We believe in you…Always confident Yohan Blake
LETS GO YOHAN
The traps on Yohan always surprised me as a sprinter. I'll be curious to see what he can achieve at his age. Blake running the 3rd leg of the 4x100m is sure a memorable moment.
Bro i'm rooting for him.
I really hope he does win and puts Jamaican MENS sprinting back on the map.
Good luck, enjoyed all them memories in your prime.
You got to first believe in yourself. I like his confidence 💯🙏🏿👊🏿👏🏿
....or is it the onset of Alzheimers?
@@didi33333
Could be, but l know it's not for Yohan!
I call it just plain old greed😂😂😂
Age has definitely caught up with him. It's a reality we all have to face. So, to the young generation, just do the right thing at the right time and do it like it's your last time.
Justin Gatlin won worlds in 2017 at 35… Yohan is 34
Yohan is 2nd fastest Man in the history man
@@markcullen2870 he can't. He's been struggling with fitness for so long until age factor set in
@@billymotatso1469Yohan is still not capable of running in the high 9.7s or low 9.8s which is more likely the time that it's going to take to win gold in Paris.
@@markcullen2870What was his time? If it wasn't in the high 9.7s or low 9.8s then he shouldn't even be mentioned as being a potential winner in Paris.
Support him 100% and hope he wins, but I think its maybe 5-10 years to late for him
That would be the greatest comeback ever
Been watching him since I was young. A true vet in the game. Him winning will be a pleasant surprise. All the best Yohan!
I have tickets for the 100m finals in Paris, looking forward to seeing him run :)
How much cost ?
@@SamKumar-ny4go i paid almost 2000€ for 2 tickets each for the mens 100m and womens 100m final
When is it starting?

God luck to you my Brother. You have always been respected. Hoping this will be your time..
I hope you get that gold medal bro
that‘s why i love him
I wish him all the best ❤
I love that he quotes the Bible. He us trusting in God and that is all that matters!
Almost all athletes trust in God. But who does God chose out of them?
@@johnsonanum A lot of Athletes trust in themselves only, but God is the one that gives strength.
Haven’t won a medal since his baptism.
@@johnsonanumGod wouldn't choose anyone over anyone. He'd just let what happens, happen
he needs to quote the bible because for this to happen, in the words of deniece williams, it's gonna take miracle
People are forgetting he is the second fastest of all time and no one has even come close to running .10s of his PB for around 8 years.
He ran that 12 years ago lol the man isn’t getting younger , that has nothing to do with him being able to win the Olympics . He past his prime
The current reigning champ ran 19.31 just 2 years ago dummy. The current version of Yohan has no chance against Lyles, Tobogo and Knighton etc.
Including Blake himself
9.69 + 0.1 = 9.79. Omanyala, Coleman, Kerley, and Bromell have all run 9.76-9.78 in the past 8 years. Within 0.05s would have been more accurate
@@afamobi93 How consistent tho? They have fun 9.8 consistently but Blake used to 9.7 low consistently. There is a huge difference tho
Chris very great take…….u wld have to go to KC to understand …….and I will tell u, each KC person have it all compartmentalized, and the support both ways is a microcosm of dealing with life…….n true brother/sisterhood ……KC is a facet of Jamaica that is very inspiring like it or not 😊
Blake for the win 💯!!!!!!! let’s get it
the greatest we have never witnessed shine
Hope yohan win, Big fan from denmark 👍
My Favourite Cricketer all of time.
Yohan I believe will need to be in at least 9.8 shape come June for Jamaica trials, then I believe he will need to be in 9.7 shape to have a chance. Now doesn’t mean to say the Olympic 100m will be won in something super quick, it could be won in 9.9x but I think his body will need at least 9.8 to 9.7 to medal contend encase it’s a fast race which it probably will be.
its gonna be tough with Tebogo also running insane now, but we want to be surprises Yohan !
Boy that would be awesome..... Go Blake
I would love to see this
Good Luck, Yohan!
imagine 2012 yohan kicks in
Not even him realize that dem days are gone
Swears! I can never forget his pace in that 4×100m relay final. At the beginning the Americans were leading, but the moment he took the baton he was ever blazing
@@teflonrozay1074 nah, it was even as he took the baton and even as he handed off, still a great leg but tyson matched him very well
GGs if that happens. I don't think it will happen though
That's always its going to be imaginary😂😂😂😂
I don’t know What he will do this season but I’m sure he’s gonna surprise everybody
Best of luck Yohan, you are still my favorite after Bolt
Its so true that a lot of the best sprinters are only good because they doing athletics was their only way to survive. Their families don't have enough money to pay for college so these young kids go into track
Rooting for our champion for sure, it seems he had some injuries and lost some of his gifted touch, but with confidence and hard work our champion can still take it home 🏆
Blake is already a living legend. I hope he finishes the year injury free
Bro this is the last one go out with a bang win it you deserve it
Great Jamaican take gold man. Blessup
Good Job Yohan. Also well done in realising that your training was wrong. Too many weights will make you bulky and cause great muscular imbalances and eventually injur but if you focus on speed and explosiveness with the right kind of strength training you can see amazing miracles🎉
Go Mr. Blake you definitely can
Yohan...you have all reason to think the way you think....no problem no worries, But i dont see it, remember no one is getting SLOWER..Good Luck..
God bless Yohan Blake ✌🏼
he will get itttttt
If ever I want an athlete to win it is this guy. He surely deserves a gold but deserves and wins are 2 different things.
It would be the greatest comeback if he wins gold. Good luck Yohan.
He is looking better than back in the past so anything is possible
Gwaan Blake!
Still got a fast one in him.
Let's get it
I knew it he's losing weight perfect stay strong 💪 still rooting for you
Yohan🔥🔥🔥
I hope he can, I like him a lot.
That's my guy. 👍
I can't believe it. If Bolt was never born, this guy would've been the GOAT.
True he had the season of a life time 2011/2012
I think what i think or hope doesn't matter... the fastest man will win.
Yohan stay positive, you can it I just want you to medal with God all things are possible l
If this man was still in Glen Mills care there would be no stopping him
I dont see that happening, but if, and that’s a ginormous he does, kudos to him and his team.
This man was the closest second behind bolt
That’s already an incredible achievement
He seems a bit slimmer and that is good thing, he seems confident, so at least he has no major injuries and in shape to push his limits. Wanna see Yohan make a great comeback!
Keep Grinding. Trust in your ability. Line up in let your talent shine.
There's a ton of talent in the 100 meter and 200 meter.
2024 Paris Olympics.....
Cream always rises to the Top
He doesn't want anyone to be looking at him cus he doesn't want the pressure. That's what I have a problem with. He's already goated, he just needs to be at peace and ready to perform optimally. Whatever that looks like at his age.
Have heard this every since year, bro be realistic. Your better years are behind you.
Blake's living in fantasy land, his time at the top is long gone, no athlete in history in any sport has come back from many years of decline to be as good as they were in the past
Good Luck
I believe with you
Would be very interesting to see. If not for Usain he had a monumental world record 200m. 19.26 is insane
Unfortunately he is done and dusted after injury....but good to see hope from his side...wud love to see him win
Would definitely love to see that and see him running under 9.70.

I really hope he wins this
Like the way I want Yohan to win though guys it’s crazy😫
well you really cant doubt the man tbh just hope
I’m not doubting him even one bit
He deserves the 100m 🥇 gold medal at the Olympics. Overshadowed only by the GOAT Usain Bolt.
8,000,000,000% chance that he can👍🏻
One good last run man. #JAfilife
I believe in you🫵🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Americans might be technically superior and their training might just be a bit more advance, but Jamaicans have the Charisma that lights up the track every time they run.
"Poverty and hard work, knowing the fact that the is our livelihood". Honestly, you see multimillion dollar facilities, then you see this track. Imagine the opportunities some missed out on. But we are seeing the Caribbean benefit from these opportunities now -- Hello Bowerman winners. But the poverty powered them. Oooof. I wish him all the best and everything going to him. Yes Yohan!
I hope Yahon can pull it off.
One of the fastest men on the planet. I pray he realises goals. But we might just have to accept he is passed his prime.
Lowkey yea I didn’t want to say it
Not if Shelly is running fast at 37 how can you say that Justin beat bolt when he was 34 or 35
@@tsmith9063Yohan Blake cannot consistently challenge the best in the world unlike Shelly and Justin Gatlin
Definitely he' ll be
Su Bingtian showed us that it’s possible to still run fast after your 20s.
That being said, Blake would have to be in his early 2010s shape or better to beat current Noah, who is expected to break 9.8 due to his new start.
We’d just have to see if Blake has that secret sauce that he’s hinting at.
But regardless, it will be great to see him run.
708 billion percent. I need to do that to achieve some of my goals
He sure has become slower but has grown so much in wisdom.
Carnivore’s W❗️N❤️🔥
Yohan had that potential like Gohan
I believe in him
I need that shirt
Anyone can win if they're in shape no injuries
I love you Blake but you gotta show me that you can win. 🥇 Confidence is good but false confidence is delusional. So if you got a 9.6 in those legs then I’m good 🎉☝🏾
