So let’s continue with Andrea’s journey. We have BodyJet liposuction in clinic which is a gentle, water assisted form of liposuction.
This is not aggressive and uses the water to “hydrodissect” the fat - which means like a pressure hose it breaks the fat up naturally and uses suction to aspirate it straight away making it clean and safe.
It can be performed in this way under local anaesthetic infiltration meaning no mean and you’re awake throughout. We’ve got more cases coming up for you.
The problem is you’re limited in who you can just take fat out for without doing anything else. In most patients, the skin envelope can be left draping if you debulk the fat but don’t don’t tighten the envelope. So we need FaceTite to come in and tighten the skin at the same time to make sure we minimise any sagging that may ensue.
