Ahhhh the TRacks on the ball wood lanes left, not like the flare marks of a Synthetic lane, Hahaha,, had to have your ball sanded every few mos :) ,, i see the gold angle :) , my favorite ball shot 811 as a youth in 1989 with it :)
Nice to see a house where missing by 5 goes Brooklyn. I'm guessing the rhs plays tough too? Maybe a little topology to work with? I think you should use the old rocks more in this house. An ebonite nitro or burgundy hammer might be just the trick! 😀
Jason Doust Right side plays differently. Leftie shot is outside 1st arrow, up the boards. Righties can move a bit more inside, but a down-and-in shot is best. Lanes are hand oiled, and trying to swing the ball across a lot of boards yields inconsistent results. And yes, the higher average bowlers throw old gear here. Resin isn't designed for conditions like this, but old urethane and rubber were. They work best for a down-and-in shot.
ha ok Figured if you were around here it would be cool to bowl with you once since I've watched all your videos many times. Anyways, thanks for the uploads!
Love the old houses, wooden lanes, above ground ball returns, pencil and paper. It's how I grew up.
Nice video and tough oil conditions
Don't forget that you have to give lane courtesy to the bathroom on Lane #1!

It's odd to see 82-70 pinsetters with above ground ball returns. Where is that?
In one of the centers where I bowl league we have above ground ball returns
irishpogi Bowling-wise, I grew up kicking the ball return on every right side spare on right lanes. Not always because I missed the spares, either!
Is this in someones house? What a nice setup. My dream mancave would look like this.
Ahh urethane and the wood and the lefthanded max 5 board hook LOL :) i know this as im a lefty too :)

That's right, just go online or to your local pro shop and order a burgundy hammer. NOT!!!
using old school Brunswick bowling balls.
