    My apologies to Black Rhino. I mistakenly thought I was using their Graph-X coating which is their most durable coating and had grabbed the wrong bottle and was using Black Rhino which is their "Lite" coating and not as durable as Graph-X. Just wanted to point out that error.

    Artdeshine v3 is amazing!!!! V1 was a headache to install and I had hopes it was going to be better so I waited and v3 omg it is a dream to use. Not only is flash time forgiving if you install it while it’s hot or humid it doesn’t affect it and I tested that! It was a 90 degree day humid and I could let it sit for a minute and came off like butter . I have to say NGC v3 is the slickest coating I have used thus far. I will be stripping my truck and putting the ngc on soon .

Drying Aids - Titan, Lithium Ignite after wash, Lithium Color Crush, TW Ceramic Wet Wax and the best Ceramic Boost Shampoo I've tried yet is the new Ethos Cleanse. I think the biggest winner out of this test was probably Dark Fury. Looks like an excellent prep spray for ridding wax, sio2 sealants, and even some coatings, besides it's killer cleaning properties. Shame you can't buy Superior Products here in the UK. I'm suprised you didn't test a Gtechniq coating on this test, e.g. CSL or C1. Very popular coatings here in the UK. • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Před 2 lety +3

      Yes. This was extreme worst case scenario and not meant to put any of these in a bad light. It does go to show you maintenance is KEY for any coating to perform as it should. The initial rinse after 2 months untouched still showed the coating doing what it should. Most customers aren't abusing their coated vehicles like this. But it does show which ones are more chemically durable.

While these tests are good for testing extreme conditions, most people don't spray these chemicals on their vehicles. And coated vehicles shouldn't be going through commercial car washes.

      I have found 7-10 mins with heat and humidity make the product very grabby and found the 5ish min better with the temps I am working with. But I am glad he noted that for others to know in the future how to proceed.

    Some of these claim things on the bottle like 2 years, 5 years, 9 years!
    This cannot mean they are guaranteed to be hydrophobic for years given that you just demonstrated degradation of hydrophobic properties after just a few washes.

      Just try to avoid high ph soaps. It’s been on my neighbors car over a year and doing well. Showing some signs of weakness but not to the point that I’m concerned but I learned with this test that it’s not the most chemically resistant. The owner did mention I didn’t let it sit on there long enough so that may have been a factor as well but I typically do 2-5 mins and he recommended 7-10 but that’s been too grabby for me but just wanted to make note of that. Keep me updated on your coating!
