you make it look so easy to remove the platter!! I have tried and tried to lift the platter on my old JVC AL-F350 and I can't get it off, it won't budge!
Thanks for the video! Just getting into vinyl and got a Sony pslx310bt, but my mom has an Yamaha p200 she said I could have. In your opinion what is a better turntable? Also what would you recommend for the Yamaha p200 for a replacement cartridge and stylus? Could you make that refurbish video you were going to do? Thanks!
Hi thanks great video On my record player the turntable not turning until needle half way across the record then when on record cuts off . Is the player totally broke ? Thanks
Hi! I have a big problem. I can't move the platter hahaha how can I do it? It could be something inside that don't allow me to move it? (Sorry for my English)
There might be a circlip on the spindle that keeps the platter in place. It's shaped like the letter C. All you need to do is CAREFULLY, prise it off with a small screw driver. It's a bit of a job to get it back on the spindle though.
Thank you!!
This was very helpful, hopefully I can find a new belt for my vintage JVC turntable
Thank you!
Thank you for very much! So obvious once you get the belt on the platter

Just give the shaft on the top a little knock with a hammer. Don't go wild on it. A little tap will do.
Nope, doesn’t do it!
Try a tiny spritz of pure silicone spray.

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot for that! Just bought my first real turntable, and the belt had come loose in transit .
Just done this for a friend's cheapo deck. No holes in the platter, a real faff to get the belt on.
What a great video!!!
My turn table it running slower that what it should and I’m not sure if the belt needs to be replaced

You have already made a mistake touching the belt all over making greasy marks, I also find with a new belt the speed changes
