This is so sad, this isn't a character being killed off, its real life, he left unexpectedly, and its not like he was fired so that's why there's a funeral scene, no, this means a lot to the Riverdale cast and everyone.

How I'm going to emotionally, mentally,and physically prepare myself: watch it in bed, covered in my covers, wearing pajama's,have a box of tissues right beside me and eating ice cream.

Yeah,I can't imagine how painful it is to lose somebody that close to you. Everything just feels so real, right now, can't imagine how hard it was to work on the show where you know a part of it is missing. Knowing that Luke's already dead and now, watching Fred die and his funeral is going to be harder to witness, when you know its going to reopen an old wound. That line though,I felt that, that hit me in the fucking feels. Oh my heart, my riverdale heart!

None of us were. Luke Perry was a good guy in real life when he helped Shannon Dorhety through her cancer, though. I remember him voicing Rick Jones in The Incredible Hulk the Animated Series and Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm. Plus, playing the bad boy Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills 90210.

this one hit more then glee own I mean I cried during Glee's tribute episode to Corry but this tribute to Luke was amazingly done they wrote him off in Heroic way. To have one of his real life best friends(shannon dorothy) play apart in his death scene. From she walked out that car I was crying. Ive been a fan of Luke from 90210 thats more then 20 years.

This is still truly heartbreaking. I was rewatching some older interviews with the entire cast and Luke was so happy the entire time.. He really loved to be part of Riverdale and he loved his job.. The show really will be missing a BIG part. Fred Andrews was the best adult, the most passionate and the most beautiful soul.. This tribute is gonna be really emotional to watch! 😭

The hard part of watching this episode is gonna be when we see the characters crying & sobbing, we know it’s the actors genuinely crying for Luke. Like the clip of Cheryl crying while putting the rose on the casket...that’s not Cheryl, that’s 100% Madelaine and you can see how hard she was taking it 😞
You'll cry buckets when Shannen Doherty appears in the episode seen as Luke always wanted her to make an appearance in the show and the day she agrees is to honor her best friend is starring in the tribute specially written in tragic circumstances.

Neither Luke or Shannen signed on for the 90210 reboot the first time around but after Luke passed...she signed on in his memory & like you said she’s doing this episode for him because he always wanted her to make an appearance 💔 over the years Shannen has had a bad reputation for being problematic & hard to get along with which I’m sure you’ve all heard before but Luke always spoke so highly of her, loved her unconditionally and respected her so much. So all of this just pulls on your heartstrings. It’s such a beautiful way for her to pay homage to their history together & it’s a bittersweet way to say goodbye to her dear Dylan. I’m gonna be such a mess on Wednesday night 💔😞
