The game you're trying to temtemtemtemtem is just _Romancelvania_ with (allegedly) Vampire Survivors elements.

Probably one of my favorite videos from you all.
On another note, you can only pick blessings from 3 different gods in each run, with the exception of goddesses of Fate (they are something like a general passive blessing). The moment you finish choosing, other gods won't appear again. So choose wisely. Don't know if Ash mentioned it, so I just drop it here.
Been playing and loving this game for a while. What i love about this game compared to many other survivor type games is that it's a lot more active. With the dodging and aiming. Instead of just running around avoiding contact.
Having already played a bunch with each character, the last update does make it feel more grindy to go through it again a bunch more times with each to level them up.
My tips would be to pick a direction and stick with it. Don't backtrack unless you left a bunch of xp shards. Find as much of those shrines as you can.
And when you have auto attack turned on, you can still use the right stick to aim manually to prioritize further targets like bosses, summoners or archers, instead of the closest enemies.
Even with all the sidetracked chats, I still bought the game because of Ash :) And if you make "Vampire Suitors" I'll buy that too!
Smooched:
When an enemy is affected by Smooched, they are slowed by 10% and takes 6 damage every 0.3 seconds. The duration of smooched is dependant on the ability that activates it.
Got chased by a skeleton but when they caught me they just gave me a kiss and hug. It turns out it was an xoskeleton.
I picked this up immediately after watching Price play it over on his channel, glad y’all are playing it as well. I’m all in with the smooching game btw 😂 my vote goes to seeking survivors, that’s gold lmao

Vampire Suitors: Seeking Survivors
Or, have "Seeking Survivors" be a tagline, like "Gotta Catch 'Em All" for Pokemon.
Okay, soo, I kinda just made this because I spaced out. So imma just put it here. It's the Five Characters for Seeking Survivors (I like that name the most). Plus some like ground rules for the game :>
A Bullet Heaven >:D
Ability Types:
Normal Attack: Short cast animation
Heavy Attack: Have a longer cast animation
Cast: Work on a fixed timer (8 seconds, but can be decreased)
Summoned: Summon little friends :>
Dash: Dashy dash. Dashes can be used twice in a row before needing to cool-down (roughly 3 seconds)
Passives *Unlimited*: Triggers automatically
All Bachelors at base can upgrade each ability once.
All Bachelors have 10 HP to start with (this can be increased with Buffs and the like).
All Bachelors gain Passives at levels 15 and 30, this will automatically be granted.
In between runs, permanent upgrades can be bought.
Base Size increases mean that both increases will take effect after the Base Size increases effects ((Base Size + Base Size Increases) + (Size Increases)) ((30 +25%) + (20%)) = 45 Size. (An explanation on how the Math of Size stuff works).
The Characters: Bachelors (Smoochy Smoochy):
Medium:
Weapon: Throwing Magic (Ranged)
Unique Buff: Mind of Spirits
Each summoned entity will deal an additional +5 Damage, +2 for every Summon the user can create. The Medium can have a maximum of +1 Summon effects.
Level 15: Ghostly Redemption
The Medium will gain a Passive that summons a Ghost Golem that deals 30 Damage in a medium area, but with a long cool-down between attacks. This will count towards Summon bonuses, but will not consume a Summon slot.
Level 30: Arcane Insights
All summons gain +5 Damage. Whenever a Summon deals damage, the Medium will gain 15% Movement Speed for 1 second.
Cryptid Hunter:
Weapon: Large Sword (Melee)
Unique Buff: My Strong Arms!
Heavy Attacks have a shorter casting animation, but Normal Attacks have a longer casting animation. Whenever Cryptid Hunter hits enemies with their Heavy Attacks, they will knock back all enemies hit a small distance. The Medium can have a maximum of +1 Heavy Attack effects.
Level 15: To See The Unimaginable!
Increase Cryptid Hunters Heavy Attacks Base Size by 25%. Cryptid Hunters Heavy Attacks will slow all enemies hit by 15% for 3 seconds.
Level 30: They Do Exist! I’ve Seen Them!
Increase Cryptid Hunters Heavy Attacks Base Size by 25%.
Regular Person:
Weapon: Regular Sword (Melee)
Unique Buff: Rampant Slashing
Every third Normal Attack will deal an additional 10 damage and the next Normal Attack will be launched 50% faster. Regular Person can have a maximum of +1 Normal Attack effects.
Level 15: Honed Focus
All of Regular Person’s Normal Attacks will deal an additional 6 damage. The additional damage of Rampant Slashing will be increased by 15.
Level 30: Practised Swordplay
Rampant Slashing will trigger after the second Normal Attack. Every second Normal Attack will trigger Normal Attack effects twice.
Paranormal Hunter:
Weapon: Crossbow (Ranged)
Unique Buff: On the Case
Paranormal Hunters Cast will deal an additional 18 Damage. For every upgrade Paranormal Hunter has for Casts, increase Paranormal Hunters Movement Speed by 10 for 5 seconds. Paranormal Hunter can have a maximum of +1 Cast effects.
Level 15: Chasing the Clues
When an enemy is hit by Paranormal Hunters Cast, they will be slowed by 25% and take an additional 20% damage from Paranormal Hunter for 8 seconds.
Level 30: The Perfect Hunt
Increase the damage from Paranormal Hunters Casts by 30%. Whenever a Cast attack is launched, after 2.5 seconds a secondary Cast is launched that deals 40% of the damage of the initial Cast.
Sceptic:
Weapon: Mace (Melee)
Unique Buff: C’mon… You Believe That?
Whenever the Sceptic dashes, for the next 2 seconds, all attacks will deal an additional 10 damage and the Sceptic gains 20% Movement Speed. The Sceptic can have a maximum of +1 Dash effects.
Level 15: That’s Not Real…
The additional damage of C’mon… You Believe That? is increased by 5 Damage. All Dash effects have an increased size of 30%.
Level 30: Fine… I’ll Hear You Out…
Increase the amount of consecutive dashes by 1. Whenever a Dash is used, deal 5 Damage to all enemies on screen immediately.

The actual game looks really fun. I got pretty distracted by the game design talk but having gear be the permanent upgrade in a roguelike is a cool idea. Plus, who doesn't like smashing your way through a horde of mooks?

There is similar game where you play a witch and your upgrades are making your boobs bigger / smaller etc. It is quite funny and ofc over the top anime style
Wow there are so many updates! I bought this game when it first came out (very barebone) and kinda distracted with other Surv...bullet heaven games (Soulstone Survivors is pretty good too; I totally forgot my Deep Rock Galactic Survivor). Sorry I paused mid-watch; I must play this game myself 😂 (promise will finish watching after I discovered all updates)
All this talk about a romance game makes me want a sexy romance version of the AI game "Suck Up" you played a few months back.
