Hi, personally I don’t understand the queue as well. I guess people are looking for the ambience since not many place has this old school vibes. I guess for some people, it is also for the memories since the shop has been around for so many years also and not much has been changed. I saw a few seniors with their families.
The restaurant is just very old compares to nearby shops, nothing special. When I was very young On Lok Yun was there like other shops, getting older and older by time. But while the area around was renovated and changed to more modern way, only this shop stayed and was still looking oldy like they crashed an idea of promoting fame with antiquity.
